I like your tips and he is another one. I use the silicone baking sheets to lay over areas of picture where adhesive is exposed doo I can lay my wrists or forearms on the silicone to get closer to areas. I cut them in half ot food to use in multiple ways.

Thank you so much for this Natalya! I have a huge 90x90cm dp (not Dreamer - huge mistake of a rookie buyer) that is total confetti. Its 3/4 done and I just got sick of switching colours so often so moved on to something else, so it was sitting incomplete, I didn't know if I would complete it. Your advice about the many small boats, how to store them in the chocolate box and working darkest to lightest of the same colour over a large area - These tips are GOLD!! Much appreciation to your contribution to the community.

I just started my first canvas and love it. I tried the multiplacing once and for me it didn't work, because I had to make sure all diamonds were close together before picking them and then making sure they had been set straight on the canvas. So is single placing for me.

Yes I use the little green tray and shake it to the sharp side. Then some dots are turned flat quickly. Then I put tray like a little boat moving on the dots. Not even on the plastic. You can move little tray like a boat next to your hand. I put something like a scissor on plastic. So I do not have to hold the plastic. Also the adhesive block helps alot. But you can shake the tip of 1 dot pen in the try and it makes static electricity... picking up beads quickly. You can even dip the tip on your tongue to make point sticky if your sticky stuff is lost. I am doning my first daimond dot. Cant wait to finnish. Also do 1 color at a time. I take 2 to 3 bags of color a day lol. Mine is 40 by 30 or so like a A3 paper size. Cant wait to put in frame.

I tried doing by the colours but I find myself getting bored of the same colour all the time. On When September Ends I decided to mark (in my head) the quarter of the painting. Then I use one colour on that quarter, and then choose another colour and do this until the entire quarter is filled. Then I move to the next quarter.

Another great video with great tips! I must be a pro! I put my tray close to the area that I'm drilling on so I am only moving my wrist and yes, this does make it faster. You just have to be sure you don't have pets or kids who will come along and cause you to spill your drills all over your painting! I have pets, but kids grown and gone, so I don't have too much problem with that. Love the clear tray idea and as I mentioned on your video on your own You Tube channel, that chocolate box is so awesome! I don't have any, may have to buy some just to do this trick! I love my 3 placer and I was recently working on a canvas that had long lines of the same color. This thing saved me a lot of time (I think) but I did have to go back and repostion a lot of the beads. I'm thinking that may be when a nice straightener (the small ones that you connect to your drill pen) would come in very handy. I just got one and am going to try it The painting with one color helps too, but I find I miss a lot of them, so I still have a tendency to work from bottom to top even while doing this so I don't miss too many. My very first DP I ever did, I did all of it like this and missed so many, I never went back and filled them all in because it's going to take so much time. That's why I appreciate what you said about doing 1 corner at a time etc. Thanks again for all your hard work!

I always use washi-tape and fix the protection sheed with just one strip so it stays folded away from canvas. I also use a skalpel to cut a little section of the protection sheed and fold it back, but you have to be very carefull not to also cut the canvas too.

I'm the same way I got to make sure their hundred percent straight so it takes me so much longer to completed Diamond painting like well I was helping my daughter do you want hers were all crooked and it drove me nuts and I see people online and they are using the multiplace there or the one that rules it on it's like a big circle thing and they come out so Cricket in a lot of the times that people say you don't don't worry about it when you feel it in more they'll straighten out but I've seen some paintings and they're not straight there will mess and that's how probably a lot of people get done real fast is cuz they don't care about if it's straight and not I get it from a distance if you're looking at the painting and all that I really noticed that it's kind of crooked but coming up close to it or if it's a picture that has a lot of detail that you need to be lined up if it's not it's going to look kind of off-centered. I know mine take a lot longer to complete but I know at the end that they are done properly and they're as Street as it could possibly be and it just makes your painting looks so much better and when you glue it if you do I do it's a lot easier when there's three and they're done properly because I've noticed when I glued my very first one it was very easy it would very easily I used to roll it roll it before I glued it to make sure everything was down and it was perfect I didn't lose any diamonds nothing when I did my daughter's because hers was crooked some more push down properly some of them we're upside down because she was rushing so when I use the roller a few of them came up I had to try to put them back down and then when I tried to use the blue some of them actually came up and I couldn't put them back in the good thing is it's not too noticeable but you don't want that after you spent so much time doing these you don't want it to be messed up like that to the point that you're not going to be able to fix the issue so definitely 100% make sure all your diamonds a press down nice and firm use a roller if you have to I got mine from the craft store it was supposed to be for like stamps and stuff but I use it for my diamond art I've seen people use rolling pins or if you want to just go over with your hand and make sure everything's press down really well it's definitely a good thing to do before you end up gluing it so you know everything's properly placed before you blew it cuz then you can't do anything about it if something's wrong. My first diamond painting was a very small one didn't take very long to do the sexy one me and my daughter got the same one she did hers for about a week and gave up and never touched again I've been trying to work on mine taking a lot longer than it should have its the van Gogh starry night but it's a very big one and I literally have maybe a day worth to complete it and then it'll be done and I'm so excited to finally get another one as well as a new diamond our pain cuz the one I'm using is the OG the little tiny ones that come with a set in those kill my hand it's one of the reasons why I haven't completed it as quick as I wanted to is because of the fact that my hands hurt too much

Is it easier to use round drills rather than square if you are a beginner?
@ezraleite7260
@ezraleite7260 4 жыл бұрын
yes, round drills are easier to pick up and place which means you will finish your painting faster. round drills are slightly larger than square drills, so there’s less drills to place for the same size painting (but this also means less detail). i’d say do round for your first one or two before you try a square one. some people prefer round, some prefer square. it’s just personal preference. good luck!

I love everything about your channel I’ve only been watching for a short time but your accent is very attractive and I like your idea for learning another language well your diamond painting. I do have a product question- I noticed when you were showing us the drills that were in the candy box those were actual rhinestones however these other little drills that we get look like they’re made out of little chips of plastic acrylic, how do you know when you order one whether you’re ever going to get a little actual rhinestones which is what I would like to try but I don’t know how to look and order the right thing to have them come and be actual little glittery rhinestones so can you give us some advice on product selection for what to look for so that when we order something we going to get what we actually wished we could do. Thank you so much for your advice you are a wonderful artist!🙂🌻👩🏻‍💻🐾❤️
