We offered to let him host, and he agreed under the stipulations that we allow him to pick any topic he wants. He also wanted to host the show live from a hot air balloon (that we would provide.) Of course we agreed. Join Dan as he soars down the Delaware River, sharing with you the untold history of Chester, Pennsylvania, and the surprisingly tragic life of American founder William Penn.

OMFG! 15:28 Rando FF brought me to this moment of apparent "hot mic" embittered micro-rant by one of my favorite podcasters! LMAO, but then, like Dan, I decided some research was needed, and I found, to my utter delight, that not only is THIS a brilliant spoof (AI, I guess it must be, one of the baby steps we are taking as we rush to Total Reality Collapse...), but this whole, undersubscribed channel seems to be full of such treasures! I also listened to some more of "Dan" talking, and that helped sway me as well, through guffaws. Well done. Thanks!

An old friend down in Illinois had some great grandpa connected to the Quaker family branch. He didn't know much, but he always brought small stories similar to some stories on these videos. Not so sure about the "big" war.

Obviously this is written by someone who has heard lots of Dan Carlin, but I'm wondering if you used an LLM to enhance the style of the text. I just recently started listening to him and found this late and night, it was too funny for me to drift off to sleep to as I have been. Good sound design and score too.

Haha thank you! No, I wrote the entire thing myself. I used Elevenlabs to turn it into audio. I have listened to a ton of Hardcore History.

And maybe it was ‘fate’ for you to be so talented, but it was free will that got you up and out of bed to do all you’ve done in life. Even with all the luck in the world, without the Will to DO, people DON’T. There’s probably more concise ways to articulate what I’m trying to say, but I hope that makes sense.
