Signed up for the free trial for now. Hope to see in the future some discussions about your reference system and the PMC Twenty5 towers you are using in relation to products you review. I've just gotten myself PMC Twenty5 23 towers and I plan to keep them for a number of years hopefully to the end of their warranty unless I upgrade to 24i or 26i. So if you end up being my source for PMC Support i will probably sign up as a paying member

Thanks very much Stephen , I’ve got some towers coming soon of a very similar design to the 25-23 so you’ll be the first to get all my thoughts. What amp do you run with yours. They are fab speakers , always loved mine.

I don’t necessarily think the 24 or 26 is an upgrade. Depends what the aim is I’d say. The speed and bass timing from the 25s is awesome with their little drivers and augmented transmission line bass. That’s what I love about them.

@13thnotehifireviews7 I have a Peachtree Pre/Dac and Gan400 in my main setup but I also use a Sonic Frontiers Line 1 Preamp and Rogue Audio Atlas KT120 power amp when I want a little different flavour from CD and my turntable.

This video has had the largest number of unsubscribes since I started reviews -20 in one day. Oh well we need to get rid of some dead wood I think. If someone unsubscribes from a KZfaq channel when I’ve been brutally honest over the last 4 years on here, and I’m asking people to give back and they object by unsubscribing, they are probably not the people I want as my subscribers.

Simon, I wonder if the reason that people seem to have unsubscribed after this video isn't so much because they're registering disapproval at being asked to join Patreon. Rather, it could be out of consideration for you because they might have taken the message that if they remained subscribed without joining Patreon, *you* might have taken the message that they were freeloading. Not wishing to convey that impression, maybe some elected to unsubscribe instead. Then again, I watch many different Hi-Fi review channels, but yours is the only one where I sometimes, obscurely, wonder whether I'm being deemed responsible for its level of Patreon membership. I haven't felt I need to unsubscribe and never watch another video of yours, but maybe some have. This medium can perhaps seem to reveal aspects of channel presenters they don't mean to convey. Maybe, for success, you might like to consider that. Maybe other presenters, though perhaps not as thorough and sincere as you are, have consciously or unconsciously managed to avoid creating possibly negative reactions. Maybe I've got it all wrong, in which case ignore anything I've had to say. In any event, I won't be unsubscribing as long as your channel exists. But I am limited in how many Patreon memberships I can manage, especially in this time of increasing cost of living. I wouldn't like to try it free if there's no prospect right now of my continuing except by having to cancel some other Patreon membership to do so.

I don’t think it’s that John. There are just lots of people online that take umbrage from being asked to subscribe and think they get everything free and all opinions from other channels, but they don’t. Maybe they think they are getting less now, well yes they are. Unfortunately these types of people are easily led online. I of course have no issue if people want to stay on KZfaq but additional content is on patreon and it would just be nice that rather than unsubscribing they would have a think about how hifi reviews get done and the fact no KZfaqr is working just for the viewer whilst I take all the risk. That’s how I have been doing it but it’s not fair on me. If If I can’t monetise a good following on patreon and get to 250-300 subscribers relatively quickly now, I can’t carry on doing this. The original question was to put it out to subscribers and it would be nice if all the people who have commented regularly on my videos come over to patreon.
