A tip for finding where to put your panels. Have someone move a mirror back and forth along the wall. You sit in your listening position and where you can see your speakers in the mirror is where you put your panels. Good way to find your reflection points

Yup! Used that technique in other homes where I had space in front of the speakers along the walls. In this room I have all glass, so I use cloth shades. Thanks for watching! 👌🎼✨

What I like about your videos is the simple tweaks that you do that works or not and your calm, soothing voice telling your viewers that if it works it works, if not its not the end of the world. Its more like we're old audiophile friends. Keep up the good work. Oh, nice job on the diffusers, you definitely can hear the difference . 💯

Yup there IS a marked difference! Another good video- I enjoy your friendly laidback style- no over zealous preaching or slavish adherence to any tribe, just an honest guy who's passion for music and hi-fi is infectious.

room treatment sure did a huge difference in my room, it really is a whole new sound worth a lot. have fun with it because i sure did :) i do recommend having the corners filled, its that place where the sound bounces and make a weird sound. 10:14 is the corners i mean. those 90 degrees are a problem area.

I would shift both speakers to the left by 6 inches or more and I bet that solves a lot of things.

I am sure you will lkke this and possibly catch the bug! I use the blinds on the window as a diffuser with the shears tames it just a bit. How I adjust the blinds makes a difference. One thing I can say is with my big ole horns in a small room it's very hard to suck the life out of the music! 😆 Probably what makes the biggest difference in my room is having the corners done on the front wall. If I could do the back wall I would.

You might try to move your speakers a little bit closer together. That may help your center image.
@vpconcepts9838
@vpconcepts9838 Жыл бұрын
Center image has always been locked in. It was reflection from the back and side corner that was causing bounce. The panels have fully corrected this. Moving the speakers closer together in this room collapses the soundstage. Your advice is sound once again legione1! 😉👊💯🎼✨

…we’ll, Paul. I can definitely hear the difference through my inferior Polk rtiA9 Towers here in Conroe Texas! Lol. That little bit of treatment warmed the sound tremendously and I’m just like, Wow! You get an A Professor! 😁 awesome!

With the panels, the sound seemed to have more weight to it, sounds more muscular due to the amount of focus particularly on the vocals and instruments. So in 4 months, IF you do move, will I still get to call you a PNW neighbor? Great video, I bookmarked your link. I may look into these panels myself, I’m pretty familiar with those 3M products you refer to, that’s what we use to hang pictures with in our house.

Seattle took a big lost, ….. man did you see that Packer Game, we got murdered. We just appreciate the content, keep it coming. Those are extremely well priced panels and they do look good. The music, and the voice was more controlled after the panel upgrade, before it was kind of lost. It is like the speakers lost energy. The panels brought everything more up front more focused. Take the products it gives your channel more variety.

Agreed! You can really hear it with the drum note hitting in the background. About my Hawks, we had a great win yesterday against the Cards. I know your team is having it rough for sure...and then there's Russell Wilson in Denver, LOL 🤦‍♂️.Thanks for watching as always Sid!

@@vpconcepts9838 no problem! the reason I asked is because the type of DAC could contribute greatly to the quality of your mid-range. I found it out when replacing my normal Delta Sigma DAC by an R2R DAC. The R2R makes the center image extremely focus and real. The Delta Sigma DAC, even though very high quality, makes my center image blurry and distance. Just my 2cents
