In this video, you'll ride on the pilot of Clinchfield 800, a 1940s vintage EMD F7 locomotive, across the CSX EK Subdivision between Ravenna and Winchester, Kentucky. This line once saw 15 daily coal trains which gradually decreased over time, beginning in 1980. By 2008, there were only 4 daily trains, with the final regularly scheduled train running in October 2016. This section from Ravenna to Patio is still in service with the primary traffic being storage trains a handful of times annually.
