josh hawley In the age of modern football, where managers get sacked for finishing 4th, for losing a few games, for pretty much anything if you are Watford, it is nice to see a manager stick by a club through the lower divisions up to the big time and make himself a legend Sean Dyche falls into this category as well, getting promoted with Burnley, then getting relegated in 19th, getting re-promoted and he’s turned them into a stable mid-table side with basically no money

Newcastle fan here, absolutely, I doubt any of the so called big names managers could have taken them to the premiership. Eddie is special and I’m delighted we’ve got him now and will give him the tools he needs to get his name amongst the list of greats. Hope Bournemouth stay up, I’d love to see him to return to you at the end of his career and lift a major trophy for you

Newcastle fan here. I can't put it into words what Eddie has done for us in such a short space of time. We were a club on its knees destined for relegation. Players were low on confidence and fans were at each other's throats, we were divided. Fast forward 6 months later and we're safe from relegation, the players are playing exciting football with a smile on their face and the club is UNITED once again. EDDIE HOWE'S BLACK AND WHITE ARMY! ⚫⚪

I respect Eddie Howe so much... He single handed put Bournemouth on the footballing map. Others use to describe Bournemouth as the team in the South near Southampton 😂 I hope they bounce back soon

Heard this is a prank and that he's taken a well earned sabbatical and coming back April 1st to get us promoted. Needs a statue for sure and that East stand needs a better name. Id love to see him watching the team in the Eddie howe East stand next to me and other life long cherries. Time for a change thanks for the memories boss. This is not the end but a new beginning get behind the team just as much as ever its what howe would want.

He will be around for decades at the top. As a Newcastle fan - I do hope he remains with us and I think he will for many years. But eventually he'll move on - probably to England which is the next logical step for him and then after that back into club football but at the very top. He is very different personally to Ferguson - but his professional trajectory is very similar.

From a bournmouth fan he put us to what we could never imagine my uncle had got me to support them and when they reached the prem he thought we would get straight back down in the end keeps us their for 5 seasons (7 years) bringing bournmouth legends to reality (Josh king,nathen ake,Callum wilson,Arthu broc)so my point is I hope the best to his future career and he's only 44 years old so I hope he becomes the next pep

Even though I'm a Brighton fan, I genuinely feel this in a way I can't describe. Howe should have a statue built outside Dean Court for his loyalty and service to Bournemouth. He worked wonders for them to bring them all the way from near doom to the Premier League dream. Hope to see him in the Premier League again soon, as well as Bournemouth, nice club.

Eddie Howe is still a great human being he aways has been and Newcastle United are so lucky to have him as their manager. We love Eddie Howe as much as Bournemouth did back then, a great man, he just goes on giving himself. He deserves a new contract and raise for his transformation of so many players in out Newcastle team. Eddie Howe is the man!!!

Bournemouth one of the very few clubs that get relegated; but can still hold their heads up with pride. I am a QPR fan and can remember going to Dean Court back in 2002 In the third league. We went into a home pub where their fans were most welcoming to us. Got chatting to a couple of cherry guys and they met us after the game and gave us lift back to the station. Truely a warm and friendly community club. Hope to see you there next season. If we are all allowed back!
