An enormous crane...and some police cars

When you're trying to film a rarely seen crane & an ambulance appears. Also seen one of three fairly new Volkswagen Passat GTE's being trialled by the Met Police. See below for timestamps.

That Passat along with their new Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Transit have to be my absolute favourite vehicles that the Met have. And they have a lot!

Over here in New Zealand re the blood car a mate of mine who works in Ambulance had to do a blood run from South Canterbury to Christchurch for a severly wounded person, choppers here busy so he was sent on his TL1000 r with cops blocking major towns, its a trip of 160 km , did it in good time and saved person

Nice catch is bigger cranes out the those would be moved in the capital at night time. Trafalgar square looks a popular spot

Not really, they often will be on site for 8am, and depending when they're off hired, they could be out whenever they are ready to go. And depending on where the crane is needed, it could be on site for weeks at a time without leaving.

I'm an Aussie and we don't really have them here, but can anyone tell me why some UK emergency vans like the one at 0:39 doesn't just have two full size lightbars ontop, why the little ones?

The sirens in British emergency vehicles need an upgrade because the speakers always sound like they are going to rupture , they sound like they're on max volume cause you can hear the speaker struggling to produce any noise.
