I Wanna Lockpick world 2: This world introduces Master Keys! If you have a master key you can press X to toggle using master keys on any door, so using master keys is optional. You can even open blank doors this way even if you have 0 of that anyway (intentionally wasting a master key).

this hurts so much when you see the solution so much faster than him also "cant spend orange or white key anywhere else" proceeds to use an orange key for no reson

as someone who’s on world 5 currently (4 locks required, DIDNT 100% the areas just cleared areas 1 to 4) it gets really wacky and this isn’t even the last part of the game

for Triple Countdown I used parity to immediately know I have to open the white 3 but not the while 1

The flow for 2A is: 1. Exhaust purple (6th & 8th) 2. Exhaust blue (2nd & 4th, uses 1 master key) 3. Exhaust pink (1st & 3rd, also exhausts orange) 4. Exhaust white (5th & 7th)

Yep, that's an alternate solution! It was discovered in testing but I didn't really have any ideas for how to fix it. I think the sequence of events here is uncommon enough that most people find the intended solution first.
