Dev here! Thanks for trying out the demo. I'm hard at work on the full release still, but there's plenty of game to be seen in this demo as well. I will note that I yoinked songs from a variety of places to use in this game, which includes a few songs which might trigger a copyright notice, so be on the lookout for that. (Music credits are supplied, albeit sorta poorly, in the "Game Info + Credits" readme file attached with the game.)

@@_yang_7 Nope. The creator of KeyPick goes by "necoroneko" and is Japanese. They gave me their blessing to reuse the concept of KeyPick, as well as a lot of its assets.

I love how the game is literally called "I Wanna Lockpick" yet it straight up gives you the matching keys and you can only open the doors the legit way. The game up to this point is full-on anti-lockpicking lol Pretty solid game with Tactical Nexus vibes tho.

To be fair he did have autorun enabled which I'm pretty sure just straight up makes jumps like that frame perfect sometimes

also I love how this game has such a simple premise but then it descends into hell on the later worlds (at least that’s what the itch page tells us) defo gonna play it

also (part 2), I love how this whole game is considered part 1. The itch page says and I quote “For the time being, this is actually only Part 1 of the game. That's because there is a critical point in the game which is far harder to work on than everything else which precedes it. So, as a compromise in case I end up never being able to truly finish the game, you have this playable version of the first "main stretch" of the game, minus some other cool and/or weird features planned for the full release. Don't be deterred, though; even though it's unfinished, I put a lot of time and effort into it, and I sincerely believe what currently exists can function as a game all on its own. If you make it to the end, you will probably think "Yep, I get why the game had to be cut off here." If you don't make it there, then you got your full experience out of this game anyway. With that said, thanks for reading this far! Maybe you should play the game now.” yeah….
