Just pure awesomeness! I find it disturbing yet funny at the same time when I read comments about Nicko saying "oh he's not a good drummer,he's not even the best in his home town" give me a break man! That's why Nicko is playing in Iron Maiden & making millions of dollars & your on a computer criticizing him lol.

As Steve Harris said, 'Nicko riffs along with you'. He's a brilliant drummer and adds so much to the Maiden sound.

Those fast double hits on the bass drum. I'd need a 2nd pedal for that. He has amazing right foot technique.

Technically/fundamentally/rudimentary astute despite such a high resting kit. Ergonomics of it fit his playing so power to the man.

It's difficult to play along to a recording like that. I don't know if he has something like a midi click to go by, but I think his time is probably just outstanding, and he's played it so many times, it's just seamless with no click needed.
