At my dad's second Buckethead show, he wore a KFC bucket on his head, and since he is in a wheelchair, some people got him side so he would have a better view. Midway through the show, Buckethead himself looked over at my dad and nodded to him, which made that day one his lifetime musical highlights

I saw him live at the Fillmore in Detroit back in either 2003 or 2004. I can't remember the year. All I remember is that he was 20 minutes late and kept peeking his head around the corner with random action figures over his face.😂 Then he came out for what was supposed to be an hour set and he played for almost 2 and a half hours, until he broke his high E steing and he just shrugged, put the guitar down, waved goodnight and walked off stage.😂😂😂😂😂 To this day, it was probably the best live show I've ever seen! His opening act called, "That 1 guy" absolutely kicked ass too!

What is it about this song that’s so beautiful? Even when the guitar ascends into the heaviest metal, it’s one of the most comforting sounds I’ve ever heard; a musical expression of the best friend you’ve ever had, like a calm, reassuring voice telling you, “don’t give up. Pooter He grew up in a farm, so he is an animal lover. He disagrees with how KFC treated the chickens in the early years and wore it as a protest. I'm not sure if KFC treats animals more humanely now. But I remember at one point he was sponsored by them because wearing that bucket is like a walking advertisement. After the contract ended, he wore a plain white bucket which you can see in a lot of his videos too. Then suddenly he reverted back to KFC again, not sure why he wears it. Maybe KFC is paying again.

What's crazy to me is that I remember being a freshman at Damien Highschool in La Verne Ca and sitting with my bass case after band practice waiting for my ride when the well known Coach Carroll stopped and asked me what I played.
