In this little clip.. an expert is showing us his knowledge on how to crack the combination locks. Everyone has their techniques.. some easier, some harder. Personally for me, I prefer to start from 0000 and go up number by number.

It ironic the same channel that shows me informative ghillie positions is getting through locks this way. Niche, similar playstyles I think.

Did you have maxed out soft skills ? wondering whats the fastest way to keep the hammer to the right? Did you just chop trees down until u reached the max hammer skill?

Once your soft skills what you can see when you open tab is right, then you can move faster. Build a lot, chop trees and your skills will be fast.

@@TheGrandFromage1The soft skills in the game, one side allows you to repair to pristine, use less from kits & duck tape etc.. the other is for building & allows you to carry more. I'm not sure which skill allows it, but they're using a soft skill to cycle animations faster, their character would also probably bandage faster & other things.

Sure you can avoid the zeros... ...last code crack I did (2 gates at Krona), first gate started with a 0, second gate started with a 1. Took me friggin hours XD You can have strategies, I always try 0000, 1111, 2222 etc. first, then date years between 1960 -> whatever year it is next. But every time you start one of these you have to accept that brute forcing it (cycling every single number) is the only way through, and sometimes you get lucky and early, and sometimes you don't.

I got into one that was 3579. So checking odd or even numbers, or variations of it like 2446, 7531, ascending or descending order or with a number repeated. Also 2 of the same 2 digit numbers like 4545, 9494, easier to check as there are only 99 of these. Checking dates from 1900 - current year is solid advice too. Cool I'm not the only one taking the time to get into bases by lockpicking. Some might say it's cowardly or boring, but it takes patience, & then you can have in & out access to their base without them knowing, or lock them out of their own base, or you can be like everyone else. If you don't wanna scroll locks then don't. If you don't wanna run a ghillie then don't, but you still gotta watch out for them😉
