The very idea of "asylum" has been completely destroyed by various political motivations including Supreme court rulings. Asylum was built upon the idea "do something for us and we'll do something for you." So all this 'asylum' contemporary controversy for the most part shouldn't even be an issue. People have no 'right' to enter the US simply because they 'want a better life". If they really want a better life they should work on accomplish that in their native countries.
