Being comfortable in our own skin and loving our bodies isn't always an easy thing to do, but Sadie, Bella and their friends, Lydia and Grace, are here to share their own journeys, from overeating in secret to obsessively working out to letting the negativity of others seep into our thoughts. Hear how they were each able to change the way they thought about themselves and their bodies, and you'll probably hear some of your own story in their confessions. And Grace challenges us to shift our perspective and be grateful for everything our bodies CAN do, rather than what they cannot.

Four beautiful ladies… uniquely made, perfectly created, powerfully loved and made in the image of God. This I a lifelong journey! I just turned 60 and in the past ten years God has been teaching me WHO HE SAYS I AM. And until I knew that I spoke mean things to myself…we have to KNOW WHO God SAYS WE ARE❤

Great point. Don’t focus on what your body looks like after childbirth. Baby bonding is what matters. Just feed your body with kindness and love.

I can’t believe you mentioned post partem hair because I was literally like oh this hair is a super cute look! I wonder what she did to get it like that or if it’s natural haha but I like the idea that my body in “shape” is not more me and normal than the me that’s changing. We have spirit so we are more than our outside and I think talking about that is so beautiful.

God listens when you need him!!! I have been struggling so much with the change my body went through. I am just shy of a year postpartum and have struggled so much with how my body has changed and looked. Not only being not as thin, but also not as strong. I feel like I lost a lot of muscle tone as well from being so sick during pregnancy and not being able to do much physically. I had never struggled with body image luckily until after having my son. It’s so refreshing to hear I’m validated in my feelings, but that I also changed for the better and no one cares if I have stretch marks, or a mom pooch 😂❤

I wish mothers had been more open about this when I was a young mom. My oldest is 12 now and I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with how I look. My standard is healthy, but it’s hard to feel healthy when you are still 30lbs overweight.

Would love to hear a conversation about plastic surgery. The world really seems to emphasize staying young and looking young. There are so many women getting Botox and fillers and nose jobs, etc. I don’t hear many Christian women talk about that industry and the struggle that it creates for the beauty standards of women. Goes sort of hand in hand with this conversation. Thank you for being open and honest! I loved this episode. 🤍

I can’t remember exactly how Lisa Bevere put it, but in her Strong series, the first video she talked about how her eating disorder because her idol. So this reminded me of it how we only focus on one thing like our body and before we even realize it, it becomes our idol.

Women call it " health" (like Bella pointed out) when it's almost exclusively BUTT work in the gym. Squats and stair climber etc. Basically, we reframe vanity as health.

I’m going to tell y’all that there’s such a controversial topic about whether Christian women should even be on birth control because apparently it’s not right to be on it. And that there’s other means of preventing a child. But idk what’s right anymore.

Natural family planning method is what I’ve used for prevention and also trying to conceive.

I learned years ago that both the Catholic and Protestant church prohibited birth control historically. You might do a study of history and scripture about God opening and closing the womb and then pray about it with your husband. I got off the pill after being married 8 months. It made me depressed and I couldn't get enough sleep. I ended up using the Creighton Method of Natural Family Planning. Looking backbi kind of wonder if we should have abandoned birth control entirely and trusted God with our fertility.

I think our physical presence is the reflection of our inner. I think all that matters is that you accept yourself the way you are so that you balance the two, remember the Bible says that Christians should not obey any other authority than God`s, so no matter what the cause of your inner/outer imbalance Christ saved you and no matter how hard Satan and his angels are trying to hijack the kingdom of God`s there be still fools and nothing that God has ever meant to us. Satan and his angels will be cast into hell forever, and seeing, and knowing how hard they are trying to get into heaven through the use of; tapping, channeling, and channel blending tells everything how cowardly they are, and how pitty they are for not rotting in hell what they built for themselves. It tells it all that they are all together so don`t be fooled by these fools trying to make you any less than you are because of our God. And, don`t fall for them for pretending to have a God too and you should respect that, because Satanists don`t have one, they rebel against the creator and pretend to be one, as truly they create things but out of God`s creation, and anything they touch will rotten from the inside out, so stay mentally awakened and do be aware if something changes inside of you for the worse because that is their presence near by, but remember that in the end (that already happened) God has identified those went against him and he had thrown them into hell forever, so what we see and experience is their last supper on God`s people, Christ. And, remember they always, always, always see people through the "evil eye" not the way Christians see, but only through the way they can play God and judge, deceive, or pretend to care for people they are about to destroy intentionally anything they can put their stupid mind on to. And, mental illness is a sign of exposure to Satanism, as during their proceeds they leave their true self behind and start feeding on "The Light" (soul) of their victims from where there is very little chance of return as God has forbidden such method of existence.

Well, ladies, I think you all have such beautiful, sweet personalities, and I really enjoyed this conversation. So, just a little question for you: what do you look like then? LOL. Not that it matters to me, as I cannot see anyway, but it would be really interesting. As they say: looks are only skin deep. 😉 p
