If you like season 1 you will love season 2. he isn't held back by going to wonders, he is going around to specifically experience other cultures and tradtitions

Series 2 is the bucket list. This is the wonders. Both are series of him out of his comfort zone in other cultures. Packaged in 2 different ways

I met Karl Pilkington at a book signing in London, I waited for about an hour. When I was at the front of the queue and was just about to meet him, he asked the guy who worked there how many people were left. The guy said a couple of hundred. Karl looked horrified and said 'you're taking the piss right?' 😂 I chatted to him for a little bit and he was exactly as youd expect him to be, what a legend. Lucky enough to have met all 3 of the trio.

There's one more episode in this series, Karl Comes Home. Then series 2 and 3. Karl was saying it's the last one because he didn't want to make another series after this at the time.

Not always the pure funniest episode, but to me, very heart warming episode, seeing Karl just be himself and try his best among these totally alien cultures and seeing them all smiling at his efforts.

What I love about this is that Karl rang Steve and was adamant 'dont tell Ricky' 'dont ring Ricky, il speak to him when I get back'. Because Karl knows Ricky would have had absolutely NONE of that, he would have kicked off. It's kind of like when you've done something wrong and you go to the parent that you know is more likely to give you an easy time 😂

A joke that I LOVE that people seem to have overlooked, is when Carl is explaining that they only know how to count to 3, they cut to a clip of him beating one of the kids at connect 4. Seriously funny

Karl ALWAYS says that Nature is the thing he respects the most. Seriously first they are trying to get him high on the psychedelic toad juice, then they make him into his own tribe. Ahhh these lovely loving people. Talk about hospitality.

If you were wondering whats going on at 25:12 basically it's a rare frog only found in the rainforest and if you torture it and make it sweat, you can collect the sweat and you put in on a stick, burn it and then poke it into your arm. It contains DMT and acts as a psychedelic.

So good man. I watch a lot of US reaction channels but all mainly music/grime etc. I have been watching/listening to Karl, Ricky & Steve for almost 20yrs and to be able to watch stuff I’ve already seen but really enjoy means you’re doing an amazing job. You get 99% of the humour too which is brilliant. Hope you’re doing episode 8 “Karl comes home” 👍🏼

Brilliant reaction, you have a great sense of humour. Season 3 is where he brings another guy called Warwick Davis with him, and it's equally as funny cos Warwick is really enthusiastic and the contrast between him and Karl is great.

im so happy to see more and more people finding karl. i found him back in like 2012. his best stuff is, the ricky Gervais show, an idiot aboard 1&2 and the series moaning of life! also some of his older podcasts and 2 or 3 of his books all brilliant, little bit of karl in everyone haha

Machu Picchu: "That bit of grass and rock over there" What's funny about Karl is there's truth in almost everything he says but it's how he says it. I mean, when you think about it, Machu Picchu is just a bit of grass and rock. Loved this episode. It brought back great memories of my trip to Peru 15 years ago. Karl doesn't sell it well but Peru was awesome.

Season 1 was Ricky and Steve choosing where Karl goes. To persuade Karl to film season 2, they gave him a list of ‘things to do before you die’ It’s just as good/even better. Definitely watch them.
