This video is LONG af, grab yourself a drink, food w/e and go ahead and do this along with me. With that being said:
1. Why is this video so long/do you really have to talk that much?
To answer the second question off the bat, yes. To answer both - the reason behind the length is due to me having done tutorials on a variety of topics in the past where no matter how thorough I think I'm being, I still get asked a ton of questions about something I didn't show/explain, and/or, people are always going - "what do I do with this though?" or "where did this come from?" or "why?" or "how come?" and so on. So, yes.
2. Just a simple disclaimer, yada-yada, if your CC gets ruined with this process, I apologise but I cannot be held accountable. I mentioned several times in the video (or at least once/twice) that merging and compressing can affect the texture/quality. However, this rarely happens.

Polycount is a description of polygons. So when a mesh object is made typically in blender maybe even maya is the programmes where most free mesh creations are made. Objects are made up of polygons and hexagons - they form the general shape of the item. So the higher polycount the softer and smoother and more realistic it can look if the shadow map, specular and texture is good on it too. ❤️

Great with some more tutorials!! Wonderful, more of this old, and decrypt The S3CC lingo, most new players have no clue what all the abbreviations are ❤️❤️ The reason why it is better with underscore almost always is because in coding language a space adds an extra thought process of the programme trying to add or multiply the two letter - so a space will first try and make it look oh are these two different thing? can I combine these? Can I multiply them? And so on, with an underscore the programme will know that hey I don't need to calculate and check if these are two, they are just one and it can move on to the next straight away ❤️

I recommend that you rename your cc (i dont really merge my cc but its only my prefrance lol) try not to put spaces between your cc package files and no underscores

Hi, thank you for the tips! I’m new to your channel and it just randomly appeared on my suggested videos. So you do all this work for your mods and I wondered how long your load times were? Have you ever timed it before and after? I’m new to merging mods and compressing them so I wondered if you saw your load times reduce - specifically from the time you select your save to when your house and family loads? What are your computer specs? Right now, my save load can take on average 8-10 minutes and that just feels so long for the little amount of mods I have and how good my computer is. I have about 1-2GBs of mods and overrides, all uncompressed and unorganized. I mostly don’t like to organize my mods by folder/category cuz if the creator ever updates them, I can just download the new one, toss it in my mods folder, and it prompts me to save a new copy or overwrite the old file (if the file name is the same as before) and I like the latter option more so I don’t have to go digging around - drop and done type of deal. lol. Any info helps tho!
