LOL I know, bless the staff. Fuck the posh customers. Whats funny is, a lot of workers in these restaurants have humble beginnings, and you know they talk shit about these annoying ass customers, as any restaurant staff does

And this would be a restaurant I would stay out of. Just watching the pretentiousness of the guy who seemed "impatient" was enough to make me want to turn this video off, but the waiter prepping that clam chowder table side was a professional and handled the guy's pretentiousness quite well. Kudos to him. And, to the guy..I hope a piece of clam got lodged in his throat.

I live in Chicago and that’s pretty much the only reason I haven’t eaten here. Every video I’ve seen from people recording while eating here is the same. There’s one where one guy is asking what kind of emulsifier was used and he was just saying the ones he knew out loud trying to impress people around him.

Rich people (not including artists and inventors) have zero character, this was my personality when I was about 10 lol. Great staff though, Alinea is great.

Velse 9 ur really stereotyping every single rich guy (or girl) and saying they have 0 character there are rich artists that are massive dicks and super kind rich tychoons I am almost a 100% sure tha the only reason u said not including artist or inventors is because there are some which u fanboy over incredibly hard or maybe even personally know

Everyone in this video is so fucking annoying. I feel so bad for this server. Diners are supposed stay silent and let the servers/cooks do their presentation. Especially for a prestigious restaurant like Alinea. This group is acting like they're at an Olive Garden. No respect. SMH.

It’s salt, as the other person said, and we would sous vide the potatoes with butter, that’s how they “simmered”.
