Wisdom is seen as a divine gift that encompasses understanding life’s deeper meanings and purposes. It involves the ability to apply knowledge and experience with insight, often linked with spiritual maturity and ethical living. Wisdom in Islam is about recognizing the signs of ALLAH in the universe and living in a way that reflects balance, justice, and gratitude. Intelligence, on the other hand, is often associated with the mental capacity to acquire knowledge, reason, and solve problems. It’s the ability to understand complex ideas, adapt to environments, learn from experience, and use various forms of reasoning. In summary, while intelligence relates to the mind’s ability to process information, wisdom in Islam is about the heart’s and soul’s alignment with divine truth and the application of knowledge in a way that is harmonious with the teachings of Islam.
