I just wanna let you know that unlike America.. skinship between men in korea is pretty normal! It's a way to show affection and love.... I'm telling you this because you seemed a bit uncomfortable.... They also have been living together for a long time that's why are pretty much like a family
@DezzyMarch

I appreciate you + the info! I kinda figured after I watched a few of their group interviews before this. I didn't know they lived together until now though, definitely seems like a close knit family from a fans perspective, its lit!

chimchim excuseme yeah in a lot of counties, same gender being close isn't seen as gay at all. It's just normal. Even in Saudi Arabia it's like this. Guy friends hug and stuff and it's just normal. And I used to hold hands with my female friends all the time and never thought anything of it. I never saw anyone complain about that stuff until I came to America lol.

Haha it's true. but isn't that funny? It seems kind of ironical situation to me. Same gender being close isn't seen as gay at all in all those countries BECAUSE usually most of the people in those countries don't even think that same-sex relationship can be sexual or romantic (....at least in Korea.).
@chimchimexcuseme
@chimchimexcuseme 6 жыл бұрын
kate park yes that's true and at the same time... Two besties being touchy are called to be a couple or gay in places where same sex relationships are common.. That's why males there are like 'no homo' lmao .. That's just people being people 😔.. They tend to overlook these stuff.. .. Yeah These situations are pretty ironic

i really liked your rant of rap and hip hop because you're totally right, the "rapper" that was criticizing them was clearly ignorant and had no idea what he was talking about.

Yoongis gummy smile you know that bfree crap is the one time I see Yoongi hold his tongue, I mean he stood up to him but calm about it, kinda wish he had "let him have it" but that cipher was sweet!

MPGisBTSArmyBae Fighting Yoongi is too classy to get down to a nobody's level, somebody who was clearly trying to get a rise out of them. Both him and RM showed that they are mature and secure in their skills and aims in life, they talked politely and then fried his ass on the platform his arrogant ass so much pretended to know. When Yoongi said he puts an end on the artery of their haters' career, he actually meant that. Look where they are now and where Bfree is. The only recognition Bfree gets is for being an ignorant black-American-wannabe whose career ended when he decided it was okay to act superior and insult people to their face while pretending to know anything about rap and hip hop.

You have to know that friendships in Korea are different. They are more touchy. It's normal for them to share hugs and have a lot of skinship. And it's normal for them to say "I love you"s brotherly. You should watch the full interview. It was wildt. The interviewers are underground rappers. For some reason in Korea they like to discrimate idol rappers from underground which is annoying because..... yall claiming to be real hiphop but yall just hypermasculine rap wannabes. None of them understand the culture so they judge them for just a title. long as you can spit and you understand where your craft come from then it shouldn’t matter what title you hold. Music is music.

Your rap/ hip hop rant really help me understand more about the hip-hop culture. Because I didn't like hip-hop genre since its always about sex, drug, and money. But Bts is helping me liking abit more of hip-hop through their music since their music still has a bit different fusion genre in it.

just a random note, guys touching and being affectionate towards each other is way more normal in Korea than in America. Their whole culture in general is more touchy. It has nothing to do with sexuality, although, very sadly, Korea is even more closed minded regarding LGBT people and rights

I hope u dont misunderstood about the ship between the members, because 'bromance' and expressing the love between guy (friends) is a common thing in Korea n asia in general. This just showed that the relationship between BTS members are very close, not just business relationship but they are close like brothers/family. They have been together since trainee for at least 7 years, so the bond between them is strong.

I don't know if anyone said this in the comments but. The whole drama with B Free was because in Korea. Kpop is marketed towards high school and middle school students. Adults don't keep up or listen to Kpop there. Its pretty much how we look at Disney radio like oh that is for kids. So basically B Free was trying to diss them saying oh your not real rappers or hip hop because you decided to go into Kpop. There has been a lot of struggle with underground rappers not respecting kpop rappers in Korea. I don't know where they get the mentality from where if you go to Kpop somehow you lose your rap skills and talent...LOL! Oh yeah I did watch this to the end. I love your reactions to them. Great reaction and I watched to the end as well. I wanted you to know that this group of boys are so close they are like family. They slept in one bedroom all seven of them for years when they were first starting out. They would share beds and somehow survived sleeping in one bedroom for a long time. They would share each others food and just take care of each other when they struggled financially. Every time they have moved to a new place they have chosen to live together in one apartment. After 6 years of living together, this month they moved into one of the most expensive housing in Seoul Korea. They now live in a very big luxury housing but still they live in one apartmnt together it is very heartwarming because they could easily separate but have decided to stay together as one. They often are seen feeding each other because they used to share food when they couldn't buy whole meals. They are often times seen and heard complementing each other's talent, looks and overall being because they love each other so much. You will see that they are very affectionate with each other the more you get to know them because they are more than co-workers, or friends they are family.Thanks for the reaction I enjoyed it and I hope you have a good day. Also good luck with your own music ambitions I see how pasionate you are about music and artist in general and so I wish you success. :)

i respect you soo much, not bc you were standing up BTS but bc you were actually stating facts and telling it how it is. That interview pissed me off but i believe Suga is a savage and has told off many people thru diss tracks like august d. People who say ignorant stuff like "why are they so colorful if they are a hip hop group" don't understand what hip hop is about and i'm glad you pointed it out. Like you said all that matters in the end is what their raising awareness for and idk if you listen to their music with lyrics but their lyrics for Love Yourself are literally about SELF LOVE. Many people face depression bc of all the norms that society has forced on us like "you should weight this much" "you should look this way" you should act this way" etc. This is SUCH AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE in our society and especially Korea. Korea has a very high suicide rate among teens and they dont really believe in mental health so many people cant get help. But, BTS making songs dedicated to self love is FUCKING AMAZING because they are helping soo many people out. I have met many people through fan accounts who were suicidal but BTS gave them a reason to smile longer, push and fight through their tough times longer. They are more helpful in many people's lives then people's own families. So i'm just saying people should really know they are talking about before they say it. They even started a campaign with UNICEF about this. SO TO ANYONE QUESTIONING BITCH MOVE TF ASIDE, they have people like us fighting for them. Don't even try us. Thanks for being a sensible person who doesn't judge things based of what they look like.
