Thanks for the vid! This is very different than the other breakdowns available. Covering their strengths and design philosophies helps me know what to look for when labbing a character or fighting against them online. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Anyone who's decent at Tekken downplays themself all the time. The modesty probably comes how layered the game is and that no one has ever fully mastered it

Very nice general overview of each character, that can help players even though they don't yet know the matchup, and how to punish. Had to have been a pain in the a55 to make this video. Thanks - we appreciate the work 👍

I'm surprised you didn't mention Claudio's new move, SB db1+2, that's a CH launcher, with Starburst it always launches on hit, and it's only -2 if he has Starburst active. Also, tiny correction, his b3 n 3 doesn't launch anymore on CH. It just knocks down now, after which he can get a guaranteed db1+2 or db3.

What does “Magic” mean in Tekken???

A magic 4 is a standing right kick that usually has pretty fast startup (11 to 13 frames) that, in Tekken 8, typically knockdown on counterhit for guaranteed follow ups
