Thank you for the content. *edit* I had a question about the 2nd harmonic asymmetry but I think I found the answer to that myself.

Very fluid explanation sir...can't wait too long for the 2nd part... would you please cover the principle for the working of the DCCT technology in the filed of Power Electronics being used right nowadays...please suggest some references or papers on DCCT technology related to it. Thanku.
@sambenyaakov Жыл бұрын
Thanks. Will try. Lookup IEEExplore there are a number of papers on DCCT

nice and intelligent way to measure it. Is it how Rogowski coil works?
@sambenyaakov Жыл бұрын
Not really. Rogowski is an entirely different principle.

Professor I have two questions in my mind: 1. Can we introduce the hysteresis of the core into this model? 2. In the real world when the magnetic core is saturated and we are reversing the direction of current then isn't that expected that the current will become zero first (sharply) then it will rise again in the negative direction with the slope of V/L? I'm asking the 2nd question because in your model the current takes the slope before reaching zero during the reversal of the excitation pulse. Thank you.
@sambenyaakov Жыл бұрын
1. LTspice has a nonlinear inductor mode variant with hysteresis. 2. The excitation is voltage not current.

@@sambenyaakov Sorry about the mistake in the question #2. I actually tried to mean excitation voltage pulse and corresponding inductor current.
@sambenyaakov Жыл бұрын
@@sayantansinha292 If the excitation is voltage, the current is limited by the inductance or resistor. There are no sharp changes when the inductance is active.

Do you mean: I can't comprehend ? or: not my area of activity?
