I'm a south Indian but I'm fluent in Hindi (Not my native language). When you guys were counting numbers in Iranian and Ossetian there were few numbers that were similar to Hindi 1. in Iranian [yek] = in Hindi [ek] 2.. in Iranian [do] = in Hindi [do] (No change here) = Ossetian [Dywae] Probably the reason for this similarity is because of all the three language Iranian, Ossetian and Hindi are Indo- European language. However this not the case with south Indian languages which are classified as Dravidian language.

The Caucasus mountains is Russia making Georgia's mountains expanded for political control, we are part of the Armenian Highlands which is Van, Sevan to Urmia. I am from Urmia. I believe Armenians are closest to Iranians, because Parthian and Armenian culture was the same. We became the same, because we speak 40% Parthian and the Armenian alphabet was influenced by Sahak the Parthian from the Parthian script. Today, Armenians are closest to Yazidis, we don't see them different from us, they are our people now. Whoever says Armenians are Caucasians is Russias bitch 😂

Dva is similar to Pashto's. The origin of Serbian numericals is deep rooted in the fact that the Scythian-Samartian tribal confederation was absorbed & assimilated by the incoming Slavs. The cultural impact of Iranian may even be reflected in genetics too.

For example we say 'yaw' (1) and dwa (2)... We say pozhmei for moon which is somwhat similar to 'mai' in Ossetian. However i couldnt find a similarity for the word hand. The word 'sar' which means hand in persian and apparently in ossetian actually means head in pashto lol. The actual word for hand in pashto is 'las' (or 'lorse' in my dialect).If only there was more lengthy videos on the iranian languages... especially pashto, it seems to be quite neglected unfortunately... 😔

My personal outlook and a proposal for our shared future. A preferred path moving forward would entail the resurrection of the historical Iranshahr or Realm of the Iranians aka Greater Iran. The above is not a desire to build an empire, to dominate the region or pursue aggressive ethnic foreign policy but to bring together what once was to provide stability and prosperity for our people. Nobody cares or looks after us, we need to do it ourselves. The Iranian in this case does not purely refer to the country of Iran and its people but Iranian Peoples e.g. people of Iran, displaced Kurds, Ossetians, Afghans and Tajiks. There is a theory that Avars are also Iranian in origin having emigrated from Khorasan but I could not verify this claim. If they are Iranian, they would be welcomed with open arms. It is paramount to remember that Iranshahr would not have any expansionist claims nor would it be hostile to our Turkish, Arab or any other neighbours. It would have no desire to resurrect the historical Sassanian Iranshahr which included Mesopotamia while having claims to the Persian Gulf region as well as the Levant and Syria. Our concerns would be domestic and rebuilding of our Iranian homelands and we would try to have the best diplomatic relationship with all countries irrespective of religion or ethnicity. Iranshahr would look like an EU of the region with equal representation and rights between members states. Its foremost concerns would involve peace, cooperation and consultation to create a common policy for development of the region. Trade and movement barriers would be erased and population of each of the above ethnic groups would be welcomed to settle down, work, visit, set up businesses etc. in any of the member states. The Kurds would be granted citizenship and welcomed back. It would be their choice to do so or not but they would have equal rights. If they wish to stay out and create their own nation in the middle of the region is entirely up to them but Iran alone can accommodate all of the Kurds combined, let alone other member states. We already have a Kurdistan in Iran but Kurds would not be confined there since they have never been in Iran's history. They newly arrived would enjoy equal rights, including their language, customs, freedom of religion, choosing their own representatives, establishment of cultural centres and a dual language system in the local media or street signage. They could engage in cultural practices 24/7 without anyone batting an eyelid. Culture, language and ethnicity would be personal issues, not the concern of the governments. The only overriding goal is to unite the Iranian Peoples in a union for development, peace and prosperity. There are many Arabic speaking Iranians in the south west, many died as patriots in the war against Iraq. They would enjoy the same rights described above, media, street signage, local representatives, cultural festivals etc. Nobody would have any right to question their loyalty or claims to be Iranians since they are and belong in Iran. I grew up among them, fine, honourable and upstanding people. I proudly call them fellow Iranians. The same applies to our Afro-Iranian brothers and sisters in south and south east of the country. I have never met one so far but would like to. They have their own unique culture but as far as they are concerned, Iran is their motherland. Immigration and refugee intake would have to be done on a national basis through the parliamentary methods, if people reject it, their will must be respected, not like the west where governments have completely overridden their native population and called any protester the vilest names under the sun. This will only lead to conflict down the road as can be seen. However, personally I view it as our duty to help our neighbours but in proportion to our own needs since our peoples are among the most oppressed and destitute already, suffering tremendous hardships and human rights violations. As I said before, nobody cares about us, we have to care for ourselves. There would be no central headquarters like the EU bureaucracy in Brussels. The elected governments of each country would be in charge of internal policies. There would be rounds of talks or conferences held at each capital, Dushanbe one year, Kabul the next, Tehran thereafter etc., where common policy for the next year would be discussed while assessing the progress so far. Although common policy and internal policies could and would overlap, these rounds of talks could not make decisions contradicting existing internal policy without democratic consultation back home i.e. referendum. Landlocked members would reach international shipping lanes through unrestricted access to Iranian ports at the Persian Gulf which would be linked with hyper speed rail to all corners of Iranshahr. The lack of internal trade and import barriers would flood the landlocked countries with goods bringing down the cost of living considerably. The above would only apply to non-high-tech consumer goods whereas capitals goods, heavy machinery or high-tech products would be subjected to trade barriers to promote internal research and production. There would be joint scientific efforts between all members states sharing common research results and academic output. Combined teams of scientists from all universities across the region would be unconditionally and generously funded by the governments to bring about rapid technological advances and biomedical solutions. There would also be a common agricultural policy that would allocate production according to hydrology, topography and long-term feasibility of food production. The foremost aim would not be to export, our region is not suited for it, but to guarantee food security of the highest quality. The latest technology in desalination and drip irrigation in combination with leading Israeli expertise would soon turn the tables around. The first goal would be to increase the GDP in eradication of poverty and creation of a vigorous middle class across the region to promote political stability and combat extremist tendencies. Liberal secularism in combination with democracy would be the norm. Mining of abundant mineral and natural resources and provision of needed raw materials for high-quality capital-intensive production would create a manufacturing boom with double digit growth for the foreseeable future. Promotion of maglev trains and thorium molten salt reactors would be a priority to unleash unlimited energy and create the necessary infrastructure for a 21st century economy. Other initiatives would involve super-fast fibre broadband, ports, airports, bridges, German style highways, state of the art power grid, modern hospitals, a massive school and university building program, tele communication to all corners of the union all of which would be coordinated through a strategic eagle eye view. All members would issue the necessary credit through their national banks, controlled by their respective parliaments and funded by the abundant mineral resources. A report from the previous decade estimated Afghani mineral deposits worth more than a $1 trillion. There are equal deposits in eastern Iran in one of the most impoverished parts of the country. Member states lacking abundant mineral resources would enjoy investment by other member states. They would also have unlimited access to 0% long term loans from other members for their own investment in internal development. There would also be initiatives to coordinate efforts in law enforcement, defence, anti-terrorism, anti-drug cartel and smuggling activities, financial crime, child trafficking, sexual slavery etc. All member states would share files of criminals in turn creating something like a supranational FBI where agents could arrest criminals in all corners of the union. The extremists would be rooted out through carrot, creation of an affluent middle class and social mobility, and sledgehammer or eradication by any means. Also, foreign funders and various intelligence services and alphabet agencies would be reminded to cease their clandestine operations in the region. The days of religious fascism would be over. Any links exposed and secret networks revealed would lead to lengthy documentaries broadcast across the world media to name and shame foreign actors, while trade embargoes and sanctions would be implemented against said foreign hostile entities till they ceased their shenanigans. Money always talks, they would soon toe the line. Iranshahr would be a considerable financial bloc. These are just some initiatives that would bring peace and prosperity to the region. The future of our people is far from bleak and gloomy. Our ancestors created many successive civilisations across the region and it can be done again, in a better and stronger fashion. We are an ancient people and have no intention of disappearing.

Iranians originally came from the Caucasus mountains before migrating to other parts of the Iranian plateau. Persian culture is well alive.

I would love to travel to and meet so many different groups of people and experience their cultures. We don't hear much about these groups of people and languages often and I've always been interested in different cultures. The world is a big place and God willing I will someday get the chance to travel there and experience their culture. God bless you all! For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Would Ossetians be "middle-eastern" peoples?
@__Man__
@__Man__ 3 жыл бұрын
Ossetians are Iranics but they are European, not Middle-Eastern, because the Northern Caucasus mountains which the Ossetian come from is located in Europe, because Middle-Eastern is regional term, like the Turkish in Anatolia, they are Middle-Easterners, but Turkish in the European side, they are Europeans. So, Middle-Eastern is regional group not an ethnic group, even a White from Europe who lives in Dubai can be called as Middle-Easterners, not European, because he lives in Middle-East not in Europe

@@__Man__ As half-Ossetian, half Belarusian living in USA I would like to identify as a middle eastern so I don't get fired from my job for being a hated 'white male" . If you are familiar with American woke culture being hostile to white people, you would understand. Therefore I am looking for legitimate reason to Identify as non-white. Iranian would also work.

@@alexanderhawk2659 you can say that you are Iranian, but you can't say that you are Middle-Eastern, because Ossetia is not in the Middle-East

Terms like "Middle-Eastern" is Western ignorance. You can't group all the people of the "Middle East" into one, because they're all different races and ethnicities and cultures.

I really really wish we could unite ALL the Aryan/Iranic/Iranian Peoples into one country. By the way the Bulgarians are also an Aryan/Iranic/Iranian people! Peter Todorov is a Bulgarian and he told me himself the Bulgarians are an Aryan/Iranic/Iranian people.
