In this video we begin our long trek back towards Idaho, but first we head a little bit east to Joshua Tree National Park where we meet up with some friends. It was such an informative trip thanks to ‪@DocWrangler‬ who provided a lot of information about areas in and outside of the park.
We only spent one night in this area, but it was so worth it. I'd encourage y'all to get out an explore this area now that the weather has cooled down. As beautiful as this area was, it was our next few destinations we visited after here that blew our mind. Subscribe now to get notified when future videos come out to see where we went.
We hope you enjoy this video & are all healthy & safe!!!

bro you are so lucky that your wife likes to get out and explore with you. Most of us would love it if our wives loved the outdoors like we do.

Thats my stomping ground! I take newbies there all the time. Old Dale mine road has alot of history as well. And yes, with a metal detector you can find gold.

Stayed at that Cabin before! You should try Pinkham Canyon to Cottonwood Springs from I-10 next time then out through Berdoo as a Loop. I run an 06 Rubi Unlimited 6 speed or 83 Toy short box so easy trails for Me.

Haha, NO DANIEL…!!! Sounds familiar. I still can’t believe how clean your rig is all the time. I also think you will have some snow to clear when you get home!! Cheers

You should have seen the Jeep when we finally made it back home. It was hardly clean. LOL And yes, the snow followed us home. As soon as we got here we received about 12" over two different storms a few days apart. Nothing though compared to what y'all get up north...Happy Trails Ward

Once again, awesome footage, especially from the drone. Looked like a fun trip. I'm not too far from that area, but have not done much exploring out that way as I usually head north rather than east from here in the AV. Not surprised by the trash and vandalism. Seems like nearly everything gets ruined by people that lack sense in California. Safe travels and thanks for sharing!

Thanks Scott. We've never done anything in this area prior to this. I'd highly recommend finding some time to hit up this area. Happy Trails!

It's people from everywhere trashing our natural areas. More than likely people from CA and everywhere else. Happens in all states sadly. I'll never understand it.

My wife and I drove up Berdoo Canyon in our stock 2021 RAM Rebel diesel no problem (with 33's). Now those trails to the mines look super interesting but a little bit much for our full size truck. Thanks for sharing!

We'll be splitting our time between the two states for a while. We've been missing our girls terribly, so we're currently pivoting a bit to be around them more often while still enjoying the benefits of Idaho.

Awesome, I just went to Joshua Tree this past year and went out through Berdoo Canyon. For anybody who may be wondering, I went through with a stock Subaru Forester, although very carefully in one or two spots. Definitely doable with 8.7 inches of ground clearance.

I drove Berdoo in my stock sport gladiator as one of my first off road trails. With the right lines it worked out great. I was really impressed with the JT. That last part just as you leave Berdoo was tricky for a novice but I did it! Gave me a lot of confidence. I was happy to find @DocWrangler as I think he's local San Diego area? He's got some good videos too. You guys both deserve more followers. For pizza, grab a gas powered Ooni, you love it!

Southern Idaho (Twin Falls) is rainy and 40's right now. Supposed to be low 30's and snow starting on Wednesday, so it'll be colder up at your place.

A good place to stop on your way north is The Mojave desert and heritage and cultural Association museum at Goffs California on old rout 66 original alignment. Home of the group that brought you the Mojave road and the East Mojave heritage trail. Cool place I have been doing volunteer work out there for about 21 years. It would be on your way to Vegas. go north through Wonder Valley and over sheep hole pass to Amboy and on through Essex.
