Troy from Downey Music Center, Downey California (Home of the Carpenters) reviews my Schecter Omen Elite 6 Transparent Blue Burst. One of the best affordable guitars under $500.00, in my opinion. Troy examines Schechter's craftmanship and quality from an unbiased standpoint as he shares his expertise dealing with Schecter Guitar Research. This time let somebody else give a fair opinion besides the bias opinion of the owner.
In addition, he goes over his own Schecter Keith Merrow MKIII signature model. (This may be a little biased) He points out some of the Schecter similarities and stocked hardware appointments that keeps this brand consistent in quality with it's modern features. A Classic design with powerful accents in both look and feel.

i have the 7 string omen elite! the heretic pick ups are f.. amazing and the neck feels amazing nothing not to like in this guitar for the price, ive put locking tuners on it but the schecter ones are fine tuners. great review

I have an Amarok. I love that guitar to bits. It's excellent. I was never really into Schecter (for no particular reason), but I got one when I was on vacation in the US and I wanted something decent to play there. I found a Demon-6 at a Guitar Center for a really good price and it was surprisingly good (to me). Needless to say, I took it back home with me. Very good guitar. Totally different guitar than the Amarok, so I can't say which one is better. Which is why I own both :)

Didn’t know what a Amarok was but I just watched a few videos of Harley Benton’s Amarok and Dang, 😮 all the appointments necessary 🤩

As an owner of the 2, the Omen elite and Amarok, I prefer the Schecter. Neck feels better, Amarok's neck is chunkier. But its a hell of a guitar for the price, maybe is a 1400€/$ for only 500. But again, I prefer the Shecter, I prefer the feel I have when i play the schecter than the Amarok.

Is this a good quality/buget guitar for a minimalist whos been casually playing since for 20 years? Been plaing my one and only guitar, a Squier Stratocaster I was gifted new in 2004. Looking for a noticeable but familiar enough upgrade with 24 frets, and humbuckers. Also that attractive but not radical look that doesn't look like it just time-traveled here from 1954. I think the Omen Elite 6 is that guitar. Thank you for the video.

Indeed, I’m a frugal one as well. I was playing a Strat for about the same and went with the Omen Elite as an upgrade for the same reasons. Thanks a Bunch for watching!

I did that too, from a Squier affinity. I really love both, Squier for being my first guitar, and Shecter because sounds incredible good for the price and it's almost as easy as Squier to play. Then I kept buying new guitars, but that's another story 😂

Not happy with my Omen elite 6. Bad fretwork and a lot of buzz everywhere. Adjustin the neck and bridge doesn't help a lot. Need the help of a hummer and rasp. My ltd ec-256 has way better built quality and less buzz with lower action (and it costs 100-150 euros less). Also heretic pickups don't have any high high/mid frequencies (((

That’s it very unfortunate to hear while I gush all over this one…yeah and your note on the pickups is intriguing; especially when I compare it to my G’LP Appreciate you sharing and Fretting It Forward for all of us
