An unusual place in the Kalahari Desert

Күн бұрынOn one of our trips into Kalahari we stumbled on an unusual place, Mr. Knudsens farm, where there were signs which could be interpreted as being ancient human activity, however I believe not. But it is still an interesting place.

Et spændende sted. Et af de steder, jeg godt kunne tænke mig at besøge. Kalahari gemmer på meget andet.

René Ahlquist - ja, den må man sige.. jeg har rejst den på kryds og tværs, set store saltsøer, huler, indfødte, peteoglyffer og et utal af fantastiske dyr... du kan finde meget mere blandt mine videoer.

Beautiful. Likely just geological explanations, maybe aeolian (wind-formed), but for sure they would have been landmarks for centuries if they were there, and making the top look unique would help. Just guesses. I know how flat it is there because I traveled in northern Namibia some time ago. I'd give anything to live close enough to visit the Kalahari. Thanks for the interesting photos.

scrubjay93 Its from an area near to Rietfontain in the North Western part of South Africa... It must have been a cult place through the eons, but I didn’t find any solid evidence
