Hi, which software are you using to produce this kind of text? If is a Latex document, which Latex packages are you using to create all biblical and critical apparatus details? Is there any free template file of this?

Hey Dwayne, I remember you speaking about Frankentexts, where multiple textual variants are used in a single verse and you produce a Greek rendering that has never existed in any Greek manuscript. I've been trying to find it in your catalogue, but can't. Can you point me in the right direction?

This is really cool, especially with an apparatus like that. I’m curious of some of the choices that might be made as well. Is the philosophy of the appendix to give commentary on variants defending their “Byzantineness,” or defending their authenticity? I’m sure there is quite a bit of overlap in there. I’m curious of the treatment of something like Acts 8:37 as an example.

It is a very exciting project! I just hope once the Greek is printed, that an English translation of it would be available soon thereafter. I do not speak, or read Greek. I tend to have more trust for an English version based on Byzantine manuscripts.

Bunning tries to include the evidence and that is why his text would be interesting. Mitchel is a computer generated text and there is nothing special about that except maybe canons are more consistently applied wherein the NA/UBS text will never be able to do that. Just my take but I have not been interested in the NA/UBS for decades! What value is there in canons that are extraordinarily qualified (besides being irrational) choosing between singular, or obscure readings from corrupt old manuscripts which really have no textual value? This critical text is going to be obsolete in time and the cbgm is going to eclipse it. Maybe include a collation in an appendix but what value is it going to have in the apparatus especially after a few years? Again, just me, I have no interest in and don't believe there is ANY value in the NA/UBS text! Zero! Their apparatus may have value but others have probably done it far better. It should not be given legitimacy nor credence in my opinion. The enterprise was built on a foundation of sand which has already mostly washed away.
