It varies as not all 777’s for ANA have “The Room” Business Class. So the best way to know for sure is to check the dates you want to fly it on ANA’s website and look for itineraries where it says “The Room” those are routes that have it BUT do be aware aircraft swaps can happen. So while there is no guarantee I find one of the frequencies to/from JFK tends to have it most of the time. That is the best advice I can give you on checking if a flight is operated with the new Business Class. So even if you are using miles in another program such as Aeroplan or United Mileage plus cross check with ANA’s site to be sure it is operated by a 777 with “The Room”.

Yes the do have it right with the hard and soft product.

I should have asked for pijamas lol but I already didn’t have enough space. I am curious to hear what price your quoted for an upgrade as I haven’t heard reports of offers when checking in or at the gate.
