Күн бұрынJune 12, 2009. First vid shows WHIO shutting down. Funny stuff since they didn't go off air for several seconds after their countdown
Second vid is WKEF shutting down with a vintage video clip of the National Anthem, which many TV stations would air when shutting down for the night. Classy, classy finish for WKEF channel 22 in Dayton, Ohio.

WKEF gave analog one hell of a sign off. I respect that, very original!!!

I only saw the WHIO feed; they did a Special Edition of NewsCenter 7 (cutting off Letterman for a few minutes). I had a 4:3 TV and lived in a nursing home in South Vienna, Ohio; I was only able to see static for a split second before it began the digital program (they rejoined Letterman after a few minutes).

I'm old enough to remember Columbus stations shutting off back when I was a kid. If you saw the sign off, you should have been asleep way earlier.
