I have my mocks today and my teacher really useless, like really useless. All she did was just read through the book with us. And that was it. In the quote "If chance will have me king, why chance may crown me," - chance is personified. Is it correct to say Macbeth is leaving his fate with 'chance' (allusion to witches) HENCE abandoning God. Immediate downfall even without the murder???

Out out links him with Lady Macbeth and out damned spot and subtly foreshadows his death. Also the adjective brief reminds our tragic hero that ultimately he will die much like everyone else- there is a limit to his power. Candle shows us that within this play time is running out

yes because when Macbeth sees the daggers, it is an hallucination or the witches are tricking him by persuading him to kill King Duncan. in my opinion it does fit because the witches might have put it there to persuade him to kill King Duncan. Hope this helps xx.
