I think Seonghwa loves Wooyoung’s “baby girlness”because he has a sort of “motherly” or more feminine protectiveness or desire to take care of people where as San has a more “masculine” protectiveness like a father or a brother would but also a very caring person. San also tends to act more childish with Seonghwa as well. Something to note as well is that Wooyoung is the second youngest member and that can also play into a lot of the dynamics since Jongho really doesn’t act cute very often. Acting cute is definitely ingrained into Korean culture for sure. Wooyoung and Jackson from GOT7 definitely the big two of flirting with everything and everyone. The deep analysis of babygirlism I did not know I needed. This was hilarious. And yes Wooyoung is the most babygirl of them all. Usually, I wouldn't say I like cute/aegyo acts but Wooyoung is so charming and funny with it, he gets me every time.

All had "babygirl" moments but the main line are Hongjoong, Yeosang and Wooyoung, maybe we could add "princess Mingi" too it but idk. They all show it in a different way for example Hongjoong and Yeosang are also sassy and sometimes flirty but they are more of the innocent pure like type that needs others to take care of them bc they can be very clumsy and oblivious, they have that aura of wanting to protect them, also bc they look small, delicate and cute! It’s interesting to me cuz debut days, San was like “unofficial maknae” cuz he was very cute, maybe not babygirl but very cutesty cutesy and Wooyoung went around saying he was “Sexy guy of Ateez” and at some point it just kinda shifted and they have sorta swapped roles. San grew up and was just that’s sexy dancer guy, and Wooyoung is just well Wooyoung except he dosent go around saying he is sexy guy “thank god” 😅. San has said that he likes cute thing but he himself doesn’t like to act cute. So I think he appreciates that in his best. But that said San even though he gives of masculine, boss man, he is still a cutie. Have you heard him laugh 🤭🤭. I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it but Wooyoung and Changbin are really good friends and I think you would enjoy seeing some of their interactions. I know there are some compilations of them being besties. They are also my biases amongst stray kids and ateez. Love a big, fun personality. I think you hit the right reason why San is so charmed by Wooyoung, I think San consider himself as a protecting human and sees the need to protect or be around Wooyoung so much, also it is a cultural thing, men on Korea have this role on the relationship of protecting and helping and kind of a comfort zone for their partners and I think that is because of how woman’s behave on Korea, that it’s more like shy, polite and sweet. That been said and where I want to go with this is that San grow up in a regular town where he was more exposed to this type of behavior and maybe that’s why he his more a protecting person while Wooyoung is more of a city guys that is more comfortable with this kpop aegyo situation or cute behavior on a man because is also part who he is, cause he grow up whit that influence. I do think that San finds adorable this silly behavior on Wooyoung and also as you mentioned, the fact that Wooyoung doesn’t even care about that because he is who he is and San loves that! Also Wooyoung is a person who loves attention and San is whiling to give him as more attention as he can and Wooyoung loves him for that, they are a really good match and talking about them as friends but mam… you can’t denied that if this two start something romantic with each other is game over cause they are already on top of each other all the time!

The thing I've noticed about Wooyoung is that he is VERY confident in who he is. He knows when and where to play up his ridiculousness and on the flip side I've seen lots of content where is is very firm in his morals and he's not afraid to call out things other idols don't (like manners, sasaengs, parasocial relationships, etc). He's a complex guy and we love him for it.

I think babygirlism has a level of maturity to it. He is def less extreme babygirl now, considering he approaching mid 20s. Not sure how much aegyo he can do into his 30s and 40s in a public setting. Also his ability to act silly and make ppl laugh is a cover for his deep insecurities abt his body image issues, which he shared publicly.
