Han & Lee Know have a special and lovely relationship and I'm glad your mom can see that. I just want to say 1) I think it is just lovely that your mom is so supportive of what you are doing, and 2) she has such a genuine and open spirit it's refreshing.

They are special! In my opinion their bond is even more special when you know the other dynamics how they are with other people. Lee Know saying Han is his vacation house ON-camera was a big deal - this was pretty open for Lee Know style.

In my opinion "healthy married couple" describes Han and Lee Know's relationship very well. Not because i think they are romantically envolved but more because of what such a marriage stands for. It's about trusting the other person and about knowing there won't be any judgement for anything. It's about knowing one self and the other person to a degree where you don't need to talk to understand each other. It's about enjoying each others company even if you don't do anything special. It's about how you can completely be yourself, you don't have to fear anything because you know you will always have each others backs. Minsung often say something along the lines of "we don't care about each other/are not interest in each other" which to me does not mean that they are not interested in each others lives but i understand this in a way that they don't always have to be together or talking about their realtionship. They know what they have in each other and don't have to discuss it all the time. I just admire and envy their soulmateship so much, i think it's something a lot of people crave 🩷

it's nice to see you bringing your family to these reactions because, firstly, from their insights, it's very easy to see why you chose to do what you do in life, and secondly, it shows how much they support what you do which is great. i love that you focused on how well Lee Know and Han know each other. also, your mom's comment about the natural intimacy they share was spot on. the same thing about how mature and open their relationship seems to be for such young men. i'd say all of them are more mature than your average 20-year-olds because of the industry they grew up in. but for Han and Lee Know specifically, they got close from the start and it's been years for their relationship to grow and mature with them. so they really give off old married couple vibes who know each other by heart. we know that Lee Know has a hard time diving into deep topics and serious conversations. he usually deflects by joking and admits himself he doesn't like to overthink/overanalyze - just goes with the flow. but here he was trying to stay serious as much as he could because he saw that Han was serious. he may be not as outspoken as Han with his beautiful metaphors about trees and air but him saying Han is like a vacation house to him is already huge for Lee Know.

Han has said in the past that he and Lee Know don't even need to talk, sometimes. They just have a deep understanding of one another. They can sit in the same room but doing completely different things, and not speak at all. Then one or the other will decide it's time to go, and just leave. And they are completely comfortable operating that way. They're sharing the same broader space, but not intruding on each other's personal space. I think of them as being linked together in a warm, comforting way, but without being tied together in a restrictive way, if that makes sense.

I love LeeKnow and his boundaries more than anything in this world. And yes, Han was really honest and open in this episode

I'm not Korean so I can't speak for the truth of the culture, but some Korean channels I've watched have spoken about "skinship" between idols and the opinion I see often is that idols (and celebrities in general, I guess) especially play it up for the fans (fanservice). Non-celebrities say it depends on how close they are with the other person, but that skinship between men isn't as common or as intimate as idols make it seem. There's levels to it, I think? Levels of playfulness, touching, etc. and I think as you said in the video, there would normally be some pushback or submission in some way. When it's genuine like with Lee Know and Han, I think it's a testament to how truly strong their relationship is, whether that's purely friendship or something more. I think it's fair to assume that they really do have some sort of soulmate connection, in that they vibe so well together. There's clips out there that point out different, subtle moments shared between them, like Lee Know gently calming Han down when he's exhibiting anxious behaviors, or Han checking in with Lee Know to make sure he's included. In either case, they are very lucky to have each other. :)

I've noticed that Han, Lee Now and Hyunjin have several introverted characteristics in their social dynamics and I find it interesting because it is similar to my dynamic with people I call friends. In our established social circle we are very open and engaging because we feel safe. Being safe to express our true selves without fear of judgement is very important.

I think that the thing you said about submissiveness kinda goes both ways, but in different things. They are very balanced in this topic to me. I think han takes the lead in situations like the video, since leeknow is not good at talking obout himself, and han is a genius with wording his thoughts. I think Leeknow takes the lead in a more practical and private way, you will see it in videos where they do more physical stuff, like han does the conversation, leeknow does the "action" in a sort of way Also han hides certain sides of himself in public, things that you cannot notice in this type of video, like leeknow once said han takes in a really tiring social role within the group, he is the moodmaker but in private he doesn't really like to have this kind of pressure into himself, he gets overwelmed, he often says that he wants to hibernate lol, so I feel like he definitely lets himself be softer and vulnerable with leeknow aswell, and the thing about leeknow is how caring he his with han, you can see it in more "hidden" moments, he notices when he's unconfotable and anxious, asks him if he's okay, reassure him and tells him to stop doing things like shaking his legs or stopping them for him, giving him directions. Or also, he laughs at his mistakes, scolding him and han instead of feeling bad for the mistake finds it entrateining and lets him take care of the "fragile" part of him that he tries not to show in public. He called him his own axienty pill once. They really both let their guard down with each other, just for han is more private

I've been watching max channel since he first started reacting on skz. I remember when he at first was struggling to understand leeknow. It was pretty funny to watch him keep guessing leeknow personality and got it all wrong a lot 😂 but now, he knows leeknow pretty well and his take on leeknow i think are really spot on. Good job.. we all know leeknow is not an easy person to get, which is why sadly he got misunderstood a lot. So it feels good to watch ppl who can understand him

I love Minsung. So much trust and intimacy between two guys who are a bit weird in different ways 😂 but who really, really get each other. I love watching them, especially when Lee Know gets soft eyes looking at Han 💙 It was really neat to hear your Mom's perspective on things I've stopped noticing - like the way they support each other without jealousy, the hand on the knee.

Thank you Max and Max's mom for this reaction! It was so insightful, plus it really ticked off most, if not all the points I would have said about Minsung too! It's so great to have a third-person perspective on this too. I think another thing about Lee Know is that he listens very carefully and pays real close attention to Han. If Han is a good speaker for the pair, Lee Know is a good listener. They complement each other so well. In this episode, Lee Know is seen to speak when he is spoken to, which is a sign that he doesn't let his thoughts take over a conversation. Han takes over the conversation because Lee Know lets him. This takes me back to the old Minsung 2 Kids Room episodes because Han mostly leads the conversation and Lee Know follows. This means that their dynamic is constant throughout the course of the years. Usually with time, dynamics between people change with growth in personalities, but in this case, it hasn't changed at all. This just shows how stable the relationship is, that no matter what growth they see in their own personality development as individuals, there is a mutual understanding between the two when they are together. This episode is very different to the older ones because there was a facilitator of the conversation which happens to be the MC or Changbin here. It may have been intentional on the part of the company to get more conversation out of them for the content, yet nothing seems to have changed. Interesting duo! Truly an interesting duo! Han's love language is words of confirmation and Leeknow's is acts of service. They both have different ways of showing each other love, and Han's care shines through in interviews like this because he's very vocal about Leeknow. But Leeknow's is more in the everyday life, like checking up on Han when he's anxious. He got him an acorn as a gift because Han is supposedly a squirrel. Also, he's super touchy with Han as well - the way they fall back together like magnets in every group picture.

out of the two han is definitely the poet and charmer words are his weapon and lee know not only is a dancer but hes a S type hes a sensor he likes to experinece and demonstrate and often times words are his last resort unless he specifically wants to use that mean of communication (rare) and this goes for everyone including fans lee know will dedicate so much time and hand make gifts for hundreds of fans... but he will SO RARELY go easy on us verbally and we know to expect jokes and playfulness

I love your minsung and skz videos. They absolutely mirror how i feel about them so deeply. Im not a analyst but skz is basically my whole world, so its the same thing.

As a "westerner" it is still something that I am trying to accustom myself too... It was a little unusual (but wonderful!) to see frequent physical contact between same-sex idols, especially when I realized I didn't have to worry about any bullying/macho defense mechanisms. Your mom hit the nail on the head with the remark about female relationships... these men are very open and caring and supportive, without "worrying" about how it may look to others. I bet that's why it is so easy to be drawn in to them as people, aside from their professional skills!
