I was literally abandoned, literally left and never came back since year 2002. Spent now 250k filing for annulment and 2 times that my application for it was denied. Where do I go now? Other than the ability to re-marry, I have not been able to extend my benefits to my parents like insurance because it is always immediate family for married person like me is spouse. Just equal rights.

Until someone experiences being walked out on thru no fault of their own, and having to stay single forever or break the law because you can’t afford to get an annulment or divorce, you can’t understand how unfair it is to not be able to move on with your life. Before the state got involved with licensing marriages this problem did not exist. All thru the Bible it was lawful for marriages to be dissolved when there was no love. Agree ako sa divorce. Tama yan na sabi nila sa proposal eh 5 years pa ang palipasin before ka makapag-file ng "divorce" para hindi naman minadali. Ang problema lang dyan sa 5 years eh sana within 5 years eh hindi maisipan ng isa sa mag-asawa na ipapatay ang asawa nya para sya mag-inherit ng kayamanang minana ng wife/husband nya sa magulang or parents nya.
