The VD700 is looking for a sudden voltage drop event to record how low the battery voltage drops down to due to the starter motor load. The battery voltage reading that you took when you went to start the car actually completed before your starter motor engaged. With a diesel, the sudden load event that you recorded was the glow plugs heating up the moment the key was turned to the ignition on position and it never recorded the load due to the starter motor. You can see that this only recording only took 530 milliseconds. To catch the starter motor load, you need to turn the ignition on first so the glow plugs heat up first, then press the ok button to "Start detection" and then turn the key to engage the starter motor. The recording will be more like 2 to 3 seconds for a starter motor load event.

Don't take the drop in voltage as your battery is bad ..The new battery also drops below 10volts on start up 🤷♂️. So do other checks to make sure... my stop start had stopped working .. hence why I replaced the battery
