I’m also boycotting KTLA. It didn’t take much for me, but this was huge. As far as I was concerned, they didn’t report enough of what was happening in and around our area. Mark is a man of integrity! A friend for life! His parents/guardian raised him well. KTLA was horrible and now has lost many viewers due to how they all handled this.

Christina Pascucci, Dayna Devon, and Lynette Romero all left KTLA within the past couple of months. They then fired Mark Mester for speaking out. Something is up at KTLA. I wouldn't be surprised to see more reporters and anchors leaving KTLA in the near future.

I woke up on weekends to KTLA weekend show. When Lynette left, that was the end! It was hard when Chris died but Lynette was the anchor and stability that kept me watching. Then she had this special talent for making us accept Mark into the picture. Now nothing is the same. I had no idea Mark was gone. I have not watched the weekend show or any morning news on KTLA since all this happened. OMG, KTLA- what are you doing? Too many good and lovable souls are gone.☹️

Lynette Romero wanted an early morning position however when she asked for a very early morning spot to be with her children, KTLA executives said no. However, Lynette still wanted a early morning position & she found that early morning anchor position at NBC 4. You can see her early in the morning from 5am or 6am. Mark Mester is also working for NBC in Palm Springs. He's doing fine & so is Lynette. Mark did stand up for Lynette when KTLA refused to recognize her for years of service bc they saw her as a "defector" leaving for a rival station & decided to basically punish her for leaving & Mark called them out for it. Lynette wanted to say good-bye to her audience & fans on air but KTLA said no & she could write a statement & it will be read on TV but she won't be on KTLA TV to say any goodbyes in person. Mark stood up for her bc he saw it as a less than stellar treatment of Lynette's 2 decades of working for KTLA. It was hard to find her & Mark but I did find them & I wanted to know what happened to both of them after that weird announcement that KTLA announced about Lynette leaving & Mark Mester being "let go" basically fired for standing up for the way Lynette was treated bc of her departure from KTLA. I like to watch NBC4 bc she's on there. I can't get Palm Springs to watch Mark.
