I will quote the University of Sydney’s very own Egyptologist, Prof. Boyo Ockinga: “The hieroglyphs in Kariong are way to disorganized and the way they are cut is not the way ancient Egyptians would inscribe rocks...the glyphs might have been made in the *1920s* by Australian soldiers who had served in Egypt.”

There is a good explanation for why they are cut differently and disorganised. You would need a lifetime of work, basically need to be a proto-Egyptian expert and be fluent in the language to write the coherent story that’s told on those walls. KZfaq Channel: Khemitology has an entire breakdown on why they are authentic, Sydney University researchers little and releases statements that people regurgitate. Sydney Uni mapped the largest star map ever recorded on the planet. It encompasses the Glyphs to some extent, it’s a sacred and special area for many reasons. The Glyphs only being one of the many. The guy who first reported the hieroglyphs in the 70's also reported that he had been visiting the area for years and the number of hieroglyphs had increased every time he visited.

The glyphs seemed to first appear after WWI veterans were granted plots nearby, the ruins of which lie only a few hundred metres from the glyphs. The other theory points out the glyphs stopped appearing after a National Parks ranger confiscated tools from a Yugoslavian migrant in the early 1980s, around the same time a cave in buried 80% of the glyphs at the site.

I'm twisting stories but imagine if those 2 Egyptian brothers were the same brothers who battled each other at Black Mountain in Queensland over an Aboriginal woman and the mountain they were building was actually a pyramid. I reckon Black Mountain is the ruins of a megalithic structure

I immediately wondered the same thing!! Black Mountain is very mysterious,and at least one geologist has said they are not typical mounds of weathered natural stone as no soil between the boulders, they appear to be gathered piles ( or shattered structures). Then theres the tales of tunnels with smooth cut sides under it. And the stone 'rings' when struck. It is still a massively unexplored site. So very curious. Probably full of giant snakes and spiders, given the location. And so many warnings from Indigenous people about Black Mountain. Id love to see cameras set up all over it and left for months....

i have known these carvings since early 70s. i am of mixed feelings. what stands out to me is the upper carvings are very weather worn compaired to the lower ones. some even below ground level. There are also other carvings in the area. up higher about 500 mtrs away their are eyes that look towards the bay and supply of fresh water and a carving near the creek hidden under moss. which iam positive is authentic showing a full size man. with pointed head. he has a belt with tools. and a back pack. there are many aboriginal carvings in the area. I always carried chalk to outline some very worn carvings almost invisible.

Some Egyptian Hieroglyphics experts recently translated it as a pharaoh was buried there. Was it it Khufu? The one that went off to sea and never returned. It was carved by an admiral and an assistant who both knew rudimentary Hieroglyphics but not expert so that's the reason they look a bit rough to experts . Some of the disputed unknown hieroglyphics have only recently been discovered and translated so no possibility of a hoax .

@toxotorana it can't be khufu he was old kingdom, there is a lion, that is ptolomaic period when greeks took over, I am somewhat fluent in heiroglyphs, looks old and hard to tell if legit to thousands of years, but it can't be old kingdom for the fact of the lion heiroglyph that was not used then, can't ignore that fact atleast

Lion? so you say, the Hieroglyphics experts from Egypt not mere Australian Egyptologists seem to think its pretty genuine, vandalism aside. Moot point however as its all but destroyed at the moment. They did it over Christmas for work and safety reasons, its right next to a housing development.

@@toxotorana go watch mini minute man, he found pics, where the carvings are fresh in the 70's and a ranger caught an old man carving them, there is also a pic with one glyph on the east wall, and a year later the west wall, so it has truly been debunked, the lion heiroglyph was added by the ptolomys era and the rope, the lion is letter l, and the rope is o, so those glyphs date way after khufus era

I'm all for ancient astronauts theorists, but the UFO Symbol could be a picture of a jellyfish and what they saw at sea. It's common for the ancients to carve into stone what they saw in their throughout their lives. If it was ship wrecked, it's possible they saw jellyfish in Australian waters

@@SDeww Except the Egyptians didn't bury anyone there or carve anything there because it wasn't Egyptians. Most likely it was someone who had become fascinated by Ancient Egyptians. This is evident as much of the writting is from two different time periods and many of the symbols are backwards and the tools used and techniques for carving are different. Not to mention that these rocks are eroded quickly as is evident in the 250 year old rock carvings from nearby. I also wouldn't throw too much shade towards the Aboriginals when you seem to struggle with simple spelling and coherent sentences.

My take is Egyptians made it to Australia regularly. And I believe that the Egyptians also made it into China and that is where the Chinese pyramids came from. I think this is also why China has closed of their pyramids from the public is because their govt found evidence within the pyramids that clearly identify them as Egyptian. Hence why the Chinese govt buried the pyramids and don’t talk about them. Makes you wonder if the Egyptians didn’t travel to South America as well too.

Yes correct lots of cultural exchange between Egypt and Australia. Ancient Egyptians also had boomerangs, Aboriginal people used Masonic hand signals. And mummification of the dead is similar with the both cultures. Lots of spiritual teachings are shared too.

Scientists found a scale model flying machine in one of the Pharoah’s tomb. They tested the model and was surprised it was aerodynamic and could actually fly. Could be it was designed by aliens and given to the Egyptian royals. Check out the History channel.

I saw two UFOs at different stages of my life in Gosford. I was with people both times and they all saw them too. It changed my life forever. I never knew about these carvings but if it’s not considered sacred, I would love to visit.

yes many ufo sightings in Gosford area including sucking up water, even police report them. I think there is a book and doco about it/ Gosford ufos. I met an older man who was fishing there at night with his mates, ufos came down, they freaked out and hightailed it home! You can visit the site if can find, I was told to smoke myself going in, and women to go with a man.... a woman can go to the women's healing table above the glyphs...:) just go with respect... cheers

Gosford is a UFO hotspot. My grandpa (a cop) told me about the one over Brisbane water (sucking up water) search for "oz Encounters" on KZfaq and you'll find the story. Also a great book from 96 called "the Gosford files"

I read heiroglyphs, one thing stood out to me a lion, old kingdom didn't have that, that is ptolomaic period when greeks took over Egypt, so it's new kingdom when they had had great navigation and boat skills, but still in Australia is very impressive if this is legit...

It has been and everyone involved, all the archeologists and Egyptologists say the same thing, that it's fake, some of the carvings are heiroglyphs that weren't invented until 2500 years later than the age claimed.

I'm from the area. A local ranger actually caught some old Slavic bloke making the glyphs. There's a track leading to the site and yes it's only 10 mins off the road. Don't worry ,I got sucked in by them too.

I'm also from Gosford I can tell you right now that there real and the reason is this An Egyptian ring was found by a freind of mine at hillend on a mountain about 2 seasons inland walk from the glifs it had 5000 years of sediment and it definitely an Egyptian ring from alantis the story at Gosford is about 2 brothers that walked 2 seasons inland and buried something it was this ring it's on you tube the expert had the metal checked it came from mines that have not been open for 5000 years it's said to also have power and that's why they sailed so far to get rid of it it may have had bad luck I think

The local Hawkesbury sandstone erodes at roughly 1mm per year , for these carvings to be 4600 years old the chisel used to carve them would have had to be about 4 metres long , nearby settlers graves dated at 200 years old and carved on the exact same stone are barely legible Nearby Aboriginal carvings of an older age can barely be seen as well, the people interviewed in this video are well known conmen and not educated in Egyptology , Archaeology or Geology

Its the same with the mystery of the universe, we have a pretty good idea its forever expanding and was created by the big bang, but thats just a THEORY ergo we have not enough sufficent evidence to be sure. This means that any theory that also doesnt have sufficient evidence to be fact is just as likely. Grow a brain.

There is strong evidence that Africans and South Indians (Tamil) came to Australia. The natives of Australia have a specific genetic marker that is found in Tamil speaking tribes of South India. The natives also use very similar words as Tamil words... and visually, they look like they are a mix of African and South Indian in their facial features. The Tamils use a weapon called a "Valari" to this day that is like a boomerang. So I have no doubt Egyptians may have also traveled there to visit.

I have been to the site a few times and I hate to break the news but the hieroglyphics are Ancient Egyptian at all. However they are quite fascinating and interesting and have a history of their own if you go up the road a bit further along Woy Woy Rd towards Woy Woy you will see a sign on the right saying Bulgandry Aboriginal Art site which has some amazing ancient carvings. Both sites are worth the visit

The Egyptians used a lens they made that the sun hit so the rays melt granite. That’s how they made the pyramids. The ground up with a lens. They were mathematicians, scientists and alchemists. I think the shapes that look like ufos look a lot like the solar lens they had to carve their writings in the wall.

This is very possible as Herodotus wrote about a Pharaoh who sent a Phoenician ship around the bottom of Africa and up to the Mediterranean sea. They also traded with India, so why not a voyage blown off course and landing in Southern Australia
