Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC - Ancient Dragon Senessax Boss Fight (No Damage Taken) & Location / NG7 Ancient Dragon Senessax No Damage Boss Fight Guide Melee Only No Hit, Solo, No Summons / Tutorial / How To Beat Ancient Dragon Senessax Elden Ring. Just a quick video showing the Ancient Dragon Senessax boss fight and location in Elden Ring. Details below.
This boss ended up being surprisingly difficult for no damage. At no point did it feel that bad, but the amount of health it has causes the fight to drag on, so I'd end up getting hit by stray lightning very often.
On top of that, the slower animation and recovery of the Greatswords was a big detriment, so I decided to change my build slightly. The concept is still the same, but instead of 2x Greatswords I went for 2x Great Stars. Allows me to build up bleed for these enemies with massive health pools, and it has quicker attack animations on the jump attack which is also nice. The damage is slightly less, but lower equip load means I can change talismans for extra damage to fill the gap without going into medium roll. So going forward I'll likely keep these on.
Build: 2x Blood Great Stars +25, max strength and dex, 43 arcane. Ritual Sword, Claw, Green Turtle and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia talismans. Raptor's Black Feathers cloak. Cragblade and Royal Knight's Resolve ashes of war.

This dragon is harder than Bayle, genuinely the woes boss in the dlc so far, base game boss that is already annoying to fight but damage and health bumped to 11, piss off

So he cant be staggered at all I'm guessing. I was spamming jumping power-stanced giant crushers and nothing happened. I then immediately go online and all I see are people giving adice on how to cheese this guy lmao Love the dlc but these copy-paste key bosses are a huge L imo. They're like Lawrence without the lore a.k.a reskinned boss with a barely different moveset and insane damage output to make them hard

There is some slight lore to senessax though. Most of the ancient dragons are dead in farum azula. Senessax who we can assume is the sibiling to lansseax. Is the only ancient dragon to have made it to the land of shadow. However your opinion is still Valid though. I don’t personally like them just reskinning bosses and making them unreasonably harder that there originally counterpart. It’s just lazy to me

@@upsideproductions2 compare that to Lawrence who in lore is a central figure and probably the cause of everything that went to shit in Yharnam and so him getting a bossfight even if it is a reskin is somewhat justified. Senessax (Relana too but atleast she's a cool boss) literally sounds like a boss from a mod and that's not even counting a number of repeat overworld bosses from the base game un-altered in moveset. Oh open world games will you ever be free of the copy-paste key?

@@7evan i completely understand. That’s why i think the final boss of the dlc is the worst boss in all of souls. And I do agree with your opinion on the blood borne repeated bosses are much better than Elden rings. Thank fully the boss right after senessax is much *MUCH* better than her

@@upsideproductions2 same dude. That final boss feels like a boss from one of those reforge mods or something lmao, I much prefer the base game's version of that fight. May not be the hardest but it's memorable as hell. Ah well atleast the actual original bosses in Sote are really good imo. Even the easier ones are like miles better than the easier bosses in previous

man would love an ai this chill huh how magical isn't it boss did jack all half the fight, meanwhile every second there's 2-3 things of lightning to avoid oh wait half the time the game doesn't respond anyways or you roll one attack and oops lightning hit and jump won't work because the input queue is fucked... Great job.. but seriously everytime i see anything like this the AI does fuckall half the time, and it's always super strong builds not that I blame people especially on ng7 and considering your stats anyways and dmg output Ill assume high lvl of blessing otherwise even then you'd do jackall for actual dmg, you practiced a ton it seems as well which is nice to see.

One of the most annoying bosses in the game, his delayed aoe attacks and nonstop attacking (can only get a couple hits in until he starts stunlocking you and killing you in 3 hits no matter your health). Also when he flies right above ur head ur fucked because unless u locked on u cant see him. But locking on makes him impossible to hit consistently, he needs leg lock ons

I hate this boss fight because it's exactly how it feels like to implement a lazy mechanic to an otherwise decent boss fight. I am not a fan of Elden Ring's Ancient Dragons, but they ain't bad fights. Adding AoE lightning to *every single attack* was too much.

The only thing I appreciated about this fight was the fact that it basically prepares you for Bayle in the sense that "no leg locks, git gud" other than that, absolutely boring. Now Bayle, well, that's a dragon fight well done, finally.
