Hello Viewers, This vlog is about Ancient Places To Visit In Mumbai. Babulnath Temple and Bangana Tank both ancient and beautiful places are located on Malabar hill of Mumbai.
Babulnath mandir is an ancient shiva mandir located near girgaon Chowpatty. Babulnath shiva temple was rebuilt in the 18th century. There is a total of 110 steps to reach the temple, one can also use a lift.
Banganga Tank, an ancient place is connected with Ramayana. It is said that when Lord Shri Rama and Laxmana were on their way to Sri Lanka that time they felt thirsty and didn't find drinking water anywhere. So lord Rama shoots an arrow at this place, and from here Ganga river started flowing. Thus this place is known as banganga. There are many shiva temples around this ghat and from them, one of the famous temple is walkeshwar shiva mandir. Banganga Tank is also known as the Mini Varanasi of Mumbai.
The nearest stations to reach these ancient places are charni road and grant road stations on the western line of Mumbai. You can easily get public transportation from the station. In one day you can easily cover both places.
