As a engineering student I did remember how struggling it was to work on lathe machine fr small piece of solid bar... imagine a pillar with intricate gears and complex carving, is itself a vindication that our ancestors were far more superior interms of knowledge and technology. This discovery you have made is beyond our time. It appears that these temples are precision machines that have a function that we cannot see because as you said, we haven’t “invented” such a machine. I imagine once this machine is activated, it could possibly reveal its purpose which we probably aren’t ready to use. I think all the tools you see carved in the temples are what they were built with, there is no doubt in mind they used an advanced technology to build them like you describe. Could the gear ratio in each pillar be how that exact pillar was built? The more intricate the pillar the higher the gear ratio required to build it? Not sure in what sense, we would have to find out what the overall ratio would be from the drive what ever that maybe. Excellent video!

Culturally in every sphere, be it art, science, literature, dances, drama, architecture, we have got to learn a lot from India. No offence to anyone, but this temple makes me feel that Hindus truly excel in all the aforesaid fields far more than all the western or middle-eastern civilization combined, even pyramids are drab and fail in elegance(overated) infront of this single temple. And there are 1000s of such Hindu temples, as I see in other videos of Praveen. Ancient India must be very peaceful, since you see the artistic temperament of this people, the face of the culture. I can't imagine this world without India and Hinduism-Buddhism, there is enough of conflicts in this world anyway.

Just the sheer fact that they could model such intricate machining is mind blowing in itself! So much we do not know!

All of these temples displaying these mechanical technologies and superb carving are much more older than archeologist are willing to admit. Who can say that this temple was not at another location previously and then dismantled and reassembled, utilizing the proposed mechanism, at it's current one?

Praveen Mohan, thanks for your amazing videos. It’s a pleasure to virtually visit all those temples together with you and your thirst of answers! I’m an Engineer and used to solve problems and find patterns, and looking for the truth is like finding pieces of a puzzle and put them together…the more you have placed the more it gets easier to solve! This temple and your investigation impressed me so much that I started thinking about it, and a theory popped in my mind and felt the need to share it wit you! First of all, gears and ratio, this does ring a bell to me, as you say they must had a purpose, and it reminds me of a Clock gear reduction mechanism! YES, think about it, an accurate timekeeping device, not necessarily a Big Ben of London 24h clock, but maybe a seasonal or astronomical one, like the Prague Astronomical clock for example. Placed inside or outside an important temple where lot of people prayed and learned daily life wisdom. Second, the Mohini statue that would move, indeed, like moving statues of Clocks! That would remind people an important hour of the day, or a conclusion of a cycle. Third, we can see so many holes in the wall, which reminds me of insertions for wooden gears maybe, just open an analogic clock to see the similarities. Fourth, carvings of chains and tools, they reminds me of tutorials left there for maintenance purpose, as knowledge needed to be preserved for future generation and to keep gears in good conditions. Fifth, you said in other videos that they were master of knots and may have used a mix of metal and ropes, connected to wooden parts, that may have benn stolen or ruined during thousand years. And I suspect that those polished pillar could have been cleared so much by the passage and friction of ropes… Well, enough for the moment, please let me know what to think and if it helps! I am living near the place of temple... local tells it is 900 years old...but when I was 6 years old my great pa once told me that it was built back more than 5000 years.. carbon test should be made to decide when it was built...the Congress government ruled out country with Muslims kind from last 70 years has erased our history...now modhiji government should take care of it and has to order to rebuild our Indian history with proper care...🙏🙏🙏

There's not even a single shred of doubt that each and every Temple in India is a fulcrum of not just culture, It's also a centre of learning (be it spiritual or material), education, science and technology, astronomy and a whole lot more. My visits to these temples and the conversation with locals makes me understand one thing and that is Vishwakarma - the architect of God's abode is the reason why each Temple is peculiar yet differently built. I also believe that this "Architect" must surely have a complex, comprehensive book that guides how to create tools and equipments that is required to build such an ancient and advanced Temple whilst facilitating the flourishing of the Indian civilization. These carvings, ornate pillars/ insides of the Temples/ the surroundings and the spiritual focal point (God and the sanctum sanctorum) if read/ observed/ researched/ cross-checked will clearly give the purpose for which human civilization must work for. Each pillar is part of a gear train , the statues foot is the locking device . The carvings are work instructions . Each pillar or position has its own work instruction which even shows which tools to use . The whole place /temple seems to be an ancient engineering training center .

This needs to be taught in our school textbooks.

I see, but remain lost in The multidisiplinary beauty of this temple as great a work of art and mathematical engineering as anywhere in the world. The degree of full relief carving and 3D craftsmamship would take a team of stone carvers and machines unmatched in our modern world. All the carvings tell a story in several levels of knowledge as well. Reminds me of a wize old man whom once said "I have forgotten more than I now know."

Praveen - I believe that India has more technology in ancient times that any other location on earth. It is simply amazing how the temples have been constructed with such great detail. I have been following you for years and there is no limit on the ancient technology or various locations. As a geologist, I cannot believe that rock was carved in such detail with no errors or breakage. Maybe the rock is also a special fine grained, uniform, and consistent formation. Maybe the quarries where the rock came from would explain something.

The “temple”is over 9000 years old. Temples were the landing and launch pads for Vimanas. They were power stations for connecting the energy of the ley lines, the Shiva linga was the actual power element. This temple in particular was a storage for central rotors of the Vimanas with the various combinations used according to the speed necessary and distance the Vimanas were to travel. Being a person from Odisha,I was always in awe of the magnificent Structures Konark Sun Temple, Puri Jagannath Temple or Lingaraj Temple.We heard about the floating sun statue of Konark temple with magnet support. It was hard to believe those days. But then I got exposed to Kailash Temple at the Ellora caves and then this temple in Karnataka. Now I am really starting to think that the floating statue is possible with our so well knowledgeable ancestors. Thanks for the details.

Morning :) Love your videos. Would love to come to India to see these amazing temples. Moving away from gear ratios I was wondering whether the pillars are representations of sound frequencies? Following the work completed by Michael Tellinger and others where temples all over the world appear to have been built like microchips and circuit boards all based on certain frequencies generating energy (A kind of Tesla theory). With the known research into how each frequency produces a different shape in sand or water and the fact the higher the frequency the more elaborate the shape could the pillars be a kind of harmonic resonator (great Pyramid of Giza). If a certain chant was produced in the doorway the harmonics are increased from pillar to pillar gaining in frequency with each more faceted pillar? Just a thought as I can't recall the concept of sound frequency being used to explain some temples in India like those in Europe and South America. Keep up the excellent work :)

Our temples were all places of great learning. Maybe it was built like a lab where all the best works are kept. The students are supposed find, work with it and learn from it. Pause at 8:12 😲😲 Now just flip your mobile 180°, this is the carving of Lord Vishnu on snake at the leg side there is goddess Laxmi carving which we can't even see clearly, and at head side Lord channakeshav, look the Lord Vishnu face expression and besides all good seeking help from Vishnu like that. Now look that tool carving, this is not tool but advance weapon of Lord channakeshava, look the small carving of Buddha and kalki the incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Really Amazing!!
