honestly, i felt somewhat depressed so i just went along with it and played a bit around in FL studio

@@bemow when i get a really good idea to compose something original (rare, typically once every several weeks or more) i make that, but when i’m depressed, i can’t compose worth a damn at all. when i’m like that i can never find a decent sample or anything.

yeah it's rare for me tho, to be depressed and make music at the same time. so it's really no problem if you feel uninspired while being depressed. most songs i've made have been after a deep low, when i was really angry, sad or somewhat melancholic, so all i can say is that i try to embrace my emotions. it can be very hard and painful at times, but i'm willing to do it just for the art i guess.

@@bemow same. i embrace my emotions for the art, to portray them well. other than music i also animate, draw, and plotwrite, which are the main things i do. i don’t only portray the negatives, like anger and depression, but also the positives. like love and nostalgia. portraying both can lead to a very emotionally complex project. one more thing, you should listen to the artist “infinity frequencies”. their music is kind of amazing.
