I've always wanted to create a goofy story about teams that scrambled for relevance during the lockout, and this is what my disordered mind has created.
This is the biggest project I've done for the this channel, and by far the one I've put the most heart and effort into. I hope you enjoy!

the interesting thing is, an LOHL exists, namely the Lakeshore Oldtimers Hockey Leaggue, an 8 team league for recreational play, where the players have to be over 40yrs, n one of the teams is known as Blades

Can’t believe you found so much footage for classic LOHL games, especially a quarterfinals like this! My family were all Goofy Ridge fans, but after not one but two promised North Carolina teams in Horneytown and then Toast never materialized I kind of lost interest. Fantastic work as always PHG! (And yes, both of those are real places. So is Climax, NC. So is Micro, NC. And Love Valley, NC. Every state in the US has to have at least four or five of these.)

NHL 2004 came out for the 2003-04 season. It originally had Dany Heatley on the cover but then was changed to Joe Sakic because of Heatley's accident that killed his teammate Dan Snyder. NHL 2005 came out for the NHL lockout year
