Anderson Lower Review

The lower you choose for your build needs to be good quality. Anderson lowers are great quality and do not break the budget. Many expensive AR lowers are made by the same companies that make cheaper lowers. Anderson manufacturers their own products and those of other companies as well. Instead of buying a lower from a middle man, you can buy and Anderson lower directly from the manufacturer.

My very first build was on an Anderson lower. I had it cerakote FDE and the end result is a 10.5" pistol. Love it.

Had one a while back as kind of a poor man’s John Wick build with a hyper fire trigger. Ran well without any problems. Building another CAR-15 wannabe with an Anderson lower. Trust it will function well also.

I have three Anderson lowers that I built from blank receivers to finished rifles, many rounds through them and have had zero issues or failures. Couldn't be happier. I am from Kentucky, and do support local and state businesses, but I have a couple of BCM lowers and the Andersons hang with them all day long

have built many for others , they furnish the lower spec the rest and I assemble them , out of the prob, 50+ that I have assembled on Anderson Lowers I have NEVER had an issue , on my personal one I have well over 15K rnds thru it with no problems . you can spend more money on a name but that doesn't mean your getting more for it.

Starting my first build this week. I picked up two Anderson lowers at Rural King for $50 a piece. Going to build a 5.56 for sure but I'm thinking about making the other one a .458 Socom or .450 bushmaster.

2 builds on Anderson lowers and soon to be 3. (Possibly 300 blackout) $55 out the door here in Florida and they work. My uppers fit snug on them and the hammer and trigger pins haven't walked out. Total price for my most recent build was $400 without the rear sight, Magpul grip, handguard and vfg and the Surefire G2X on a V-TAC mount.

I have built a rifle and a pistol. I used a Anderson Manufacturing lower on both of them. I have not had any issues. I think they make a good lower for the price.

My son built him a 300 blackout with the same name brand receiver you use , he like that brand also! We are ordering the parts now to build two AR15 5.56 should have them together in a few weeks depending on how long it takes to get the parts!

I've put a few lowers together and the anderson I assembled recently gave me no issue's. I purchased a Gucci buillit lower that was out of spec in multiple places.

Nice work Boom. One really gets to know how good a home build is when you take a multi day fighting rifle class and run hundreds of rounds though it.

Very true. The pistol is great but another build i did is a bit heavy. Treat them like a woman, buy them nice accessories and occasionally get them hot and dirty. Only way to know if they're going to give you trouble.

Anderson is real good stuff. I built an AR with one. No problems at all. Not so long ago I bought an Aero lower. I really like it as well. A bit more expensive, but it has a screw to remove the bolt catch which makes real easy to take apart if you need to clean it or service it.It also comes with an adjustment bolt to adjust the lower to the upper if there is play in them. I didn't need to use because my Bear Creek Upper fit it real snug. But it is a good thing to have to deal with the issue. I think on lowers if you stay with and well known company like Anderson, Spikes, Bear Creek Arsenal, Aero and other good companies, you can't go wrong.For me I will only use the metal lowers, don't like the plastic ones. You are right the barrel is probably the most important part of the build.Do you prefer steel barrels or stainless barrels?Also do you like 1/9, 1/7 or the Wylde 1/8?The answers might be good for a whole video.

This build is the 223 wylde and it seems to be very accurate. As far as the twist rate, it depends on the type of ammo you use.

I own a AR-15 with Anderson manufacturing lower foot thousands arounds through the gun haven't had a single problem with that lower at all and it was a custom build and everything lined up no cracks no burs just just all around good quality

AGREED...LOVE ANDERSON'S....WOULD LOVE A AERO PRECISION BUT THE PRICE OF THE ANDERSON WITH THE ANDERSON SLICK SIDE UPPER IS A GREAT COMBO

I have used Anderson lower receivers only and very satisfied with the end product. Don’t forget that they also made the upper receivers and are good too. What’s the brand of your pistol brace? Can’t see it well. Do you paid stamp to put it on your AR pistol? Thanks!

I just ordered 3 Anderson lowers like yours, cost was less than $100 with free shipping from Primary Arms. Price was too good to pass up. I just plan to build complete lowers and just have them as spares. All of my lowers were from PSA and Aero so this is my first experience with Anderson. I’m hoping that they’re all good with no spec issues. I heard of some negative reviews on Anderson but they produce such a high number of lowers every year there’s bound to be some that have complaints. PSA has been good. I actually had a fitment issue with my Aeroprecision upper and matching lower in FDE but it was remedied by my gunsmith for free. Thanks for the video.

What's up brother, I just got done building a kit that i ordered from Delta Team Tactical. It came with a Anderson upper receiver. I purchased a Anderson closed lower to match up with the Anderson upper that came in my 12.5 kit from DELTA TEAM TACTICAL . Ballistics Advantage 12.5 barrel, Recoil Technologies flash can, 13 in M lok rail, Davidson Defense BCG, KAK INDUSTRIES lower parts kit with polished trigger, A2 grip, Carbine gas system, SB 4 brace. The Anderson upper and lower matched perfectly with very little play between the upper and lower. I'm only $570 in to the build with out counting $50 personalized engraving that I had done on my lower. This is my first AR build and I will be using Anderson upper and lower to build my next AR project which will probably be a 8.5 300 black out.

It could be the finish inside the magwell being a bit thick. I don't have any issues with either of mine.

Look for burrs on the magazine and inside the mag well
