People forget Fergie chose him to start the CL final in 2009, he played almost every CL game in his first 2 seasons where we got to 2 finals, played in all the big PL games. He was fulfilling his potential in the first 2 seasons.. After that injuries caught up with him, but to say he was a “flop” is unfair in my opinion.

Paul Scholes getting this kind of compliment from a Brazilian... You know you have reached the football peak! These guys see the best of the best in South America but saying you was one of the best he's ever seen is a wow! I'm happy he can see what i saw in Scholes my best player of all time! Not skill wise but man had great game reading and the accuracy on the ball is just outta this world! who gets accuracy and football mind all together

Can't believe he retired at the age of 31 😔. I absolutely loved this guy and always wanted him to do well for United but injuries ruined him, it's so sad. Thanks for the memories. Mohamed Aweys Ozil is one of the laziest player in the game but it still works for him. Juan Roman Riquelme is even lazier, he never make a run but he is considered as one of the best player in his position.

Watching this just made me feel sad and happy at the same time when he talks about Nani Ronaldo scholes giggs Rooney evra wow between giggs ronaldo and Nani we had 3 natural wingers there now we hardly have one and play a striker on the left wing in Martial or Rashford and Mata on the right wing but he is a CAM how sad that we cant name one natural winger now

Isak Pettersson it's not a myth he in terms of the potential he had and how gifted he was on the ball does make him a flop harsh word to use but basically yeah. He won alot of course one of the perks in being in a team that's world class but not living up to his potential as well as injuries does make him a flop if you want to call it that, only because he didn't live up to his potential. Still played pretty decent though.

Just because he didn't speak English doesn't mean he didn't know it. Antonio Valencia the current captain of United still uses translator everytime he's being interviewed.

Ferdy Ryan There are a few interviews of him speakings English, and it's just terrible, he says some portuguese words when he forgets something in English lol, and the pronunciation is terrible as well, just listen how he says "Rooney", he probably can listen english and get everything, but when it comes to speaking it's just terrible for someone who spent that much time in England.
