@andrewharper1609
@andrewharper1609 4 жыл бұрын
The Beatles might be a tough one. Not sure if Andertons stock 12string Rickenbacker guitars. They used Vox amps live AC80 if I remember rightly. Both John and George used lots of different guitars though. As well as the aforementioned rickys George had a blue Strat he was known for and John had the Epiphone Casino he recorded Revolution on. That's just to name a couple.
@RC32Smiths01
@RC32Smiths01 4 жыл бұрын
@@andrewharper1609 Ahh that is definitely true. The Beatles has some of the most diverse and unique sounds, tones, and eras in their catalog. But they have managed to pull it off before, I think they could do it again
@andrewharper1609
@andrewharper1609 4 жыл бұрын
@@RC32Smiths01 I suspect the best option would be some sort of electric twelve, I know Fender do one if they don't have the Rickenbacker (apparently Rickenbacker only do limited production runs each year so they tend to be in short supply) and I'd probably go with either the tribute Epiphone or a Gibson ES335. My reasoning would be that the 12 is a hard sound to replicate and the high end Gibson is massively more expensive than the high end strat and we are going for busting the bank here. That said they don't seem to do anything involving 12 strings which is a real shame just got one and fallen in love with the nice noises it makes.

@adamburks5671
@adamburks5671 4 жыл бұрын
Here's an idea, considering that the katana really is that good at purt near everything, why not make that a twist on all of the videos? In one corner is always the katana with patches, in the other, a different amp and pedal setup that could potentially fit the more specific sound of any given artist better. Because clearly katana is king of versatility, but when it comes to specifics and little nuances, is it as good as a more purpose built, less versatile setup?

Put the Epiphone with the Katana and you have the winner. I can't wait to install patches on my Katana. Thanks Pete!

you 2 are easily the best on the channel. you guys are actually enjoyable to listen to and have an interesting musical direction in contrary to chapman's insufferable lead playing. edit: except when you resort to buying a katana in almost every episode

You guys at Anderton's are just too cool. love the content and the zany way you guys do things always entertaining however I will say that the sounds like crew is a bit more on the serious side than the Chapper's and the Captain shows. Not that that should be seen as a bad thing at all. At some point it would be great to see the four of you do a gear review jam session together. Cheers fellas!

Awesome :D Only thing i would add is a wah pedal for Matt, and expression pedal for "Rababes" (there is a exp. pedal input on the footswitch, i guess you can control wah/volume/etc. with it)

Katana 50 can still access 4 preset channels with the optional A/B footswitch. Great little amp.
