LOVE!!! I’m from the Deep South. I play only acoustic but find myself watching this channel all the time, well because it’s amazing. But I’ve been dying for a country sounds like. This rig sounds very late 90’s country early 2000’s to me. Modern country has a lot of pop in it. Either way amazing video and the southern accents are amazing 😂😂😂 my dad is military and stationed in Europe and I’ve made it very clear that when I come over to visit we have to make the trip to Anderson’s!!!! Much love from the heart of the south.

And the Appalachian accent is derived from the Scottish and Irish accents of the people who settled there and, much later, created country music as we know it. As a native of the Appalachian mountains near Bristol, TN/VA (it crosses the state line) where country music was first recorded, I find it amazing how easy it is to pick up a Scottish or Irish accent when I'm speaking to someone with one.

That's a great sounding Tele for the money. I've never really tried to play modern country but I love the sounds they get for a lot of the genre these days. And Rabea just shreds some southern licks there and then proceeds to say he's basically not prepared for that kind of playing. That's like Ron Burgundy not being ready to play some jazz flute...

As a Nashville guy that plays on and produces lots of Country demo's, I personally have a Keeley Compressor on my board. They seem to be popular as well as the Wampler Ego. My main overdrive is the Nobels ODR (mini on the board at the moment). I use lots of various overdrives though. Gotta have Slap Back delay too. I use the BOSS DD-500 for most of my delays. These days there's a lot of dotted 8's as well, especially in the Choruses. Anyway, thanks for the video. Great playing!

There are a couple of things about that Nashville Tele that are not traditional. First off, it has noiseless pickups rather than regular single coils. Secondly, because of the Stat-like switching, you can't select the combination of bridge and neck pickups. It's a fabulous guitar, but those looking for classic sounds all the way around may want to consider going with two single coils.

@@000MidnightSun You're right. That's very strange. I could have sworn I bought my Xotic because it was about 80 bucks new, while the four knob Keeley was closer to 200. A case for the Mandela effect to be sure.

Luke Robinett Their production is never the best, well at least on the last two releases but the towns and stuff they get are still immaculate. And then with stuff like green and yellow and then the red album and blue record those are classics with tons of incredible sounds on them. But even purple has stuff like chlorine and wine that’s beautiful

Should have used a classic vibe, it's just as good as that Nashville and much cheaper. You could have then gotten any amp and pedal combo you wanted. At any rate it sounded good. Not sure I liked the Alvarez at all but loved the amp.

Not bad. The Keeley comp is definitely a perfect choice. The tone you missed out on is the Nobels. Huge part of the Nashville sound, the inspiration for Paisley's drive and the GTO by J.Rockett. Also, massive reverb and a good delay.
