Nunca fui fã de ninguém, mas quando meu filho completou 3 meses de vida, quando tentávamos coloca-lo para dormir em meio aquelas noites de cólicas, em uma playlist de Andrea Bocelli no Spotify, percebi que meu pequeno se acalmava e dormia. Eu já conhecia muitas das suas músicas, mas ao ouvi-las diariamente, com meu filho no colo, me permitiu finalmente fechar os olhos e ter a dimensão da grandiosidade do Andrea. Repeti esse ritual até o dia 11/10/2023, pois no dia seguinte, aqui no Brasil, celebramos o dia das crianças, seria o primeiro do meu filho, mas ele faleceu de uma pneumonia fulminante em menos de 12 horas de internação. No momento de sepulta-lo, no sono eterno, toquei duas músicas que ele adorava, uma brasileira chamada “Como é grande o meu amor por você” e “Con te partirò”. Continuo a ouvir as músicas todos os dias. Tive o privilégio de estar em São Paulo no dia 25/05/2024, dia que completei 5 anos de casado com a minha esposa, mãe do meu maior presente, para juntos, homenagearmos nosso filho no show de Andrea Bocelli no Allianz Parque. A expectativa era alta, comprei os melhores ingressos e tive a melhor experiência da minha vida. Estar tão perto de um ídolo, ao qual meu tornei fã, que me permite reviver todos os dias o colocar meu filho para dormir em meu colo, mesmo não o tendo mais, é inexplicável. Andrea, a sua voz nos permite transcender desse mundo e nos conectar com o que há de mais divino no mundo. Obrigado por nos presentear com o seu talento, assim, posso todas as noites sentir o meu filho em meus braços e chorar de saudade. Que o meu pequeno filho, seja um intercessor junto a Deus e lhe proporcione uma longa vida e ainda muitos anos de carreira, para que tenhamos o prazer de desfrutar da sua voz e muitos novos trabalhos por muitos anos. I just came home from seeing them in concert and hearing him and his daughter sing together was amazing.

My mom and I just saw him in Detroit last month. He and his daughter, sang this song together. It was so beautiful! It brings me to tears. Many people don’t know, but when Andrea’s mother was pregnant with him, she was put under tremendous pressure to abort him. She had suffered appendicitis, and the doctor didn’t know she was pregnant when he had applied treatment. When he found out about the baby, he told her the child would be disformed, disabled, would probably die at birth and she needed to abort! She refused. She said she would love him no matter what! And because of her strength and love, Andrea has touched the entire world with his talent, his voice, his music! But not only that, Andrea’s daughter and son are alive too. If Andrea wasn’t allowed to live, we would not have any of them, and they are all beautiful, talented, singers and musicians! God bless that mother’s unselfish and unconditional love! ❤️

I say this with tears in my eyes, I do believe God sends us little miracles when we need them, and this was mine for today which was very needed!

My daughter and son bought me tickets as a Father's Day present, although Andrea's concert wasn't for some months still. Had it to look forward to for sooooooo long. On the night, very emotional, listening, singing, crying and clapping - and concert hadn't even started - that was the vid clips showing on screen beforehand. Wonderful amazing evening. Even my children, who don't listen to this kind of music, were touched and affected and enjoyed it all.
