I own both the Chanel and rose Inc. versions of this. Use a brush. The brush helps break the beads up on your face so you don’t lose any of the pigmentation. Also, these products tend to bloom the longer they sit on your face so the full coverage potential doesn’t happen until you finish your make up. I use mine is a primer or a very light coverage base. It does do a little bit of covering though. I would wear it with a color correcting primer if you were just going to wear it on its own. Beautiful product though.

So….they give you a brush with it but you decide to use a sponge? You used three pumps cause that sponge soaked up that watery foundation

the chanel advisor told me it was crucial to apply it on your face first then blend it out with the brush. not on your hand or a palette. and let me tell you it became a completely different product. i originally tried it by applying it to the back of my hand then breaking it up with a beauty blender and it just looked patchy and dry. but whew chile it looked like my skin but better when i tried it the way the chanel advisor suggested.

I highly recommend trying the new Chanel Complexion Touch! It’s similar to the one you used but there are more shades and slightly more coverage. I’m obsessed 😍

I'm conflicted lol. I love a good skin tint. But I don't know about paying $65 for my skin to look just like skin. I can do that for free. That being said, the Chanel has been sitting in my cart for the past week. I'll probably end up paying the price for my skin to look just slightly elevated. 😂Thanks Drea!

Hey girlll!! So I was initially leaning towards the Chanel, but once you got all of the products on your face they both honestly give the same energy! Love the finish! The girls have had the Chanel sold out chile, so Rose Inc is definitely a good option for those that don’t want to spend the coin or can’t find the Chanel one.

Momma you have to put the Chanel on the back of your hand and break up the bubbles where the color is then apply it to your face with a brush not a sponge

Chanel has great face/makeup products. I love wearing their products. The skin tint is for a no make but I’m polished kinda look. I love Chanel’s camellia water cream for my face moisturizer.

Glorious Evening Everyone~ I’m so excited, been waiting for this vlog. I’ve used this Chanel Water Fresh Tint. And when I did I honestly thought I was the only black woman who had. EDIT: I love the Chanel, it works better when you lay it down and pick it up with your brush. And you won’t use as much. While I do understand those that are not willing to spend the monies for what they can get for less.

Another great one! I think both sides looked similar with your full face at the end, but I prefer the Chanel (finish-wise) if I was just using the skin tint by itself. I always gotta open my carts before watching one of your videos because I stand by your recommendations! 🙌🏾

Tasha has been influencing a lot people to purchase that Chanel tint, but I actually prefer the Rose Inc. side. I've been doing rhe minimalistic makeup too for work. I have to put something on my eyes when I wear mascara like you or my maacara won't look good. Can you do a comparison side by side of the Neutrogena sensitive skin serum vs. the Chanel that you put on. I heard that the Neutrogena one is a dupe. Can tou try the Loreal Paradise Glow Tinted Moisturizer and the Loreal Lip balm and stain? Thanks for the video!

I got a sample of the Chanel Water Tint (the lightest weight version)--I go so many compliments. I don't like the feeling of foundation--I don't wear it, but the Chanel just evens out everything. I just don't like the fragrance too much. Luckily, it dissipates pretty quickly. There isn't a color in Rose Inc that works for me. However, for the money you will drop on Chanel, I agree, it needs to come in a glass bottle.

I like them both but your left side is a Lil bit lighter and matches the center of your forehead and nose. Your right side is darker but match around her mouth which is dark. I think you can use both but at different times

OMG! Why did it take so long to put these foundations on your face. The aimless chatter and the 15 mins of sniffing it was highly annoying and frustrating. It was excruciating to watch. I gave up and never actually saw the product on.
