Everyone's talking about the husband and wife, but I think the other guy who looks so happy to be there and mouths the lyrics at the end is the real highlight.

I first heard this music in tom and jerry when i was a kid, though I laughed alot at that time watching their actions and praised the music somewhere in mind. Found this masterpiece again today, being an Indian couldn’t understand a single word but the composition is just phenomenal. Never fails to amaze.

Opera lyrics usually don't make sense because they are written with the singing in mind so in retrospect they could be basically gibberish as long as they sound Italian

🇲🇽 El novio está celoso, pero esto es parte de la presentación. Al principio entran al son de la marcha nupcial guiados por Andre Rieu. Luego se sientan al frente, y allí esperan a que entre en escena el cantante Morschi Franz (que es tenor, pero canta como barítono) interpretando al barbero Figaro (que hace de todo en la ciudad). En el contexto del trabajo original de Rossini, la novia representaría a Rosina (que está atrapada en la casa de Bartolo, el novio, que es su tutor y que quiere casarse con ella a toda costa). El novio puede ser Dom Bartolo, que es el tutor de Rosina, un doctor celoso y avaro. El chico que se va a cortar el pelo es probablemente el Conde de Almaviva, un joven rico que está enamorado de Rosina. En la Ópera del Barbero de Sevilla, Fígaro (el barbero) planea, junto con el Conde de Almaviva, invadir la casa de Dom Bartolo para declararse a Rosina. Aclarando: Este Figaro de Andre Rieu es diferente, es coqueto y llama la atención de la novia con su voz imponente, presumiendo que tiene mucha demanda en la ciudad. Rosina lo admira, sobre todo por sus aventuras con el Conde de Almaviva, mientras que a Dom Bartolo no le gusta nada lo que ve.

In all honesty, his singing isn't that great. Look up some of the greats singing this like Sherril Milnes or Dmitri Hvorostovsky. Those guys have real power to their voice!

🇧🇷 O noivo está com ciúmes, mas faz parte da apresentação. Eles entram ao som da marcha nupcial guiada pelo Andre Rieu (ela desce da carruagem e corre em direção ao noivo - esta parte consta em outro vídeo). Depois sentam na primeira fileira, e ficam à espera do cantor Morschi Franz entrar em cena, interpretando o barbeiro Figaro (que é barítono, e que faz de tudo na cidade, até mesmo arranjar casamento e trabalhar de cupido para os clientes fieis). No contexto original da obra de Rossini, a noiva seria a Rosina (ela está presa na casa de Bartolo, o noivo, que é seu tutor e que deseja casar-se com ela a todo custo). O noivo seria o Dom Bartolo, que é o tutor de Rosina, um médico charlatão, ciumento e avarento. Já o rapaz que vai cortar o cabelo seria o Conde de Almaviva, um jovem rico que está enamorado de Rosina. Na obra original, o barbeiro Fígaro planeja, junto ao Conde de Almaviva, invadir a casa de Dom Bartolo para declarar-se a Rosina. Esclarecendo: Este Fígaro do Andre Rieu é diferente, ele é galanteador e chama a atenção da noiva com sua voz imponente, esbravejando que é muito requisitado na cidade. Rosina o admira, sobretudo por suas peripécias junto ao Conde de Almaviva, enquanto Dom Bartolo, que possui sua tutoria, não gosta nada do que vê. Não é homenagem ao pica-pau, mas sim a Rossini.

A family favorite... good wholesome tv with moral themes. And a beautiful theme song. So many great american shows were aired un the uk , that had amazing theme tunes rhat take u back to childhood, like highway to heaven, hill street blues, cheers, cagney & lacey, Rockford files, dukes of hazzard, the waltons little house on the prairie, huckleberry finn, littlest hobo....my absolute favourite was hill street blues..it flet like being embrace by an old friend id not seen in years

I wish I knew ANYONE who liked Opera or Andre Rieu in my personal life. I've rewatched this two dozen times in the last week, its fantastic! Attending an Andre Rieu event is one of my top 5 things I want to do. so great

É porque o cantor deu um beijo na mão dela no início, aí o noivo já não gostou. Outra coisa que o noivo ficou com ciúmes é do entusiasmo da noiva durante toda a peça. Mas que enjoado, ele fez uma cara pastosa pra mulher.
