Sky News host Andrew Bolt has fact-checked some statements made by co-author of the Calma Langton report, Marcia Langton, during her National Press Club address.
"Whatever Langton was trying to do, she was exactly the wrong person to do it," Mr Bolt said.
"When it came to telling falsehoods, Langton told plenty herself."

I see loads of people making comfortable incomes from “helping” the Aborigines. (The gravy train again). Amongst this group of “race-problem solvers” who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public. It is known that far more than the average minimum wage is spent on each and every Aboriginal man, woman and child, and what do they have to show for it, very little that’s what. This “help” is done in an attempt to show us how noble and selfless the “helpers” think they are. Well I call BS on that, and wonder about the Aboriginals that have fallen by the wayside to satisfy a need to feel good.

False Claim: Langton said: “I’ve never been a member of the Communist party". FACT: Marcia Langton started her political career as a hard-core Communist and has never disavowed her past views. She wasn’t simply a naïve young activist, either. Langton was a member of the National Committee of the Communist League (CL), a Trotskyist group that campaigned for the violent overthrow of the Australian government and the implementation of a totalitarian socialist state. This is a woman who was so extreme in her Marxism that she was once the focus of an undercover ASIO operation. It’s worth remembering that one of the core beliefs of Trotskyism is that Australia doesn’t deserve to exist as a country and should be destroyed. South Australia counted aboriginals in all its' census's from the very first one in the 1860's. South Australian aboriginals, men and women, had the vote well before Federation. We have to be mindful that Ms Langton actually promised us that if the result was 'no', she would shut up and go away; Her second promise was that it would kill reconciliation. This concept has already divided the nation. Aboriginal people up and down the country have launched claims for ownership over national parks and coastal areas. They are funded by govt grant money in these legal attempts to start charging non-indigenous Australian citizens 'rent' and 'reparations' simply as an extra taxation. What scares ordinary folk is the idea of a non-democratically elected body of 'Aboriginal elites' holding executive power over the nation's parliament, the nation's many local councils and as seen recently in Western Australian,. over every farmer, factory owner and house owner in the land.

This is the same as incas claiming mexico, or the red indians claiming the USA, austria claiming hungary, etc. Europe has been in a constant change of administration for centuries. And none of them think its feasible or desirable to go backwards. Indigenous already are more represented prorata in parliament already than non indigenous. Of which, I'm not entirely opposed to, it's just that it has to be backed up by strong evidence and the indigenous storytelling is straight up bullshit. And I'm someone who's a very keen xenophile, I'm very interested in anthropology, so I'm really their target audience. If they've lost me, they're making it up as they go.

I'm like you and want to know the truth, no matter how bad that makes the white man look. Colonialism was what the Dutch, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Germans and the Belgians did back in the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th centuries in particular, but like with everything else, the world evolves and stops many wrongdoings from the past. You could actually reason that the Chinese are currently still involved in an unofficial modern form of colonialism on the African continent.

Marcia Langton was born in Brisbane. Stated herself she didn’t even know she was indigenous until she was older. Jacinta Price’s mother was born and raised in the desert west of Alice Springs and her grandparents speak of seeing white faces for the first time at 9 years old. The Prices have been working with remote indigenous communities. Langton is an academic looking at facts and figures on paper. I’m sticking with those who have boots on the ground! Are living it and experiencing it! They are the voices that need to be heard. Not Marcia Langton

How is there less spent on healthcare for Aboriginal ppl when the healthcare is there for everyone? They're public hospitals, for everyone... The barriers are not based on race, it's based on geography, which is the case for white ppl living in remote areas too. But the inner city Aboriginal ppl have exactly the same access to healthcare, as anyone else in the city.

An indigenous friend of mine just had a stomach stapling (or whatever it's now called) op and airfares (around $25k for everyone else) from FNQ to BNE fully paid for by indigenous health.

They don’t get that much it’s BS. Google it. They get way lees than anyone once you take out road, telephone, water airport services etc. it’s not their fault they live in these communities. They were removed from their ancestral lands and put in these places. They weren’t meant to survive and they did. We were expecting them to be gone by now but they are still here. That’s the problem we are now faced with. They are surviving deliberate genocide. Look up 2 words. Genocide and Eugenics. That should give you the gist of the White Australia Policy.
