@@will201084 Likewise Will, I appreciate the positive energy. I always embrace connections with positive people. I was only stating that I couldn’t care any less if I didn’t have anybody. I thrive off difficult situations, I could be alone, but never lonely. I’m too motivated, disciplined, & focused to ever give another human being that much power over me. So if people want to be in my life, I would do whatever it takes to cherish our bond & show how much I value them, but if they want to leave, that’s completely fine with me. Time & the bills don’t stop, so neither will I. I will be okay regardless, nobody loves me more than me.

0:00: 🥊 Mike Tyson discusses his background and the Quantum Universe with neuroscientist Andrew Huberman. 5:58: 🧠 The brain has the ability to micro slice time during high tension moments, allowing for a more finely tuned experience. 10:57: 💡 Hypnosis is a self-directed rewiring of the brain that can be used as a medical practice to help with various conditions. 16:25: 💔 The video discusses the increase in mental health problems and suicide rates, and the potential use of MDMA for PTSD treatment. 21:31: 🔑 Isolation can lead to aggression and mental distress. 26:32: 💡 During rapid eye movement sleep, the brain experiences emotional content from one's life but without the release of adrenaline. 31:43: 🧠 The ventromedial hypothalamus has two types of neurons that control aggression and mating behaviors. 36:35: 🧠 Our memories shape our behavior and can lead to experiences like déjà vu. 41:26: 🤔 The video discusses the complexity of life and the limitations of human understanding. 46:25: 🦠 Viruses exploit physical interactions between organisms to survive and infect. 52:14: 🤔 The video discusses the relationship between religion and science in controlling the masses. 58:08: 🤔 The speaker discusses the possibility of there being things beyond our comprehension and how some people perceive the world differently. 1:03:19: 💡 Having two sets of tools for stress management is important, including daily practices like meditation or prayer and real-time tools to calm down in the moment. the way mike describes his channeled anger to do things people couldnt do with just determentatoin, is inspiring. we all can use emotoins to our advantave but anger has one of many benifts that other feelings just dont have. to me channeled and directed anger is one of the best things we can all use to achevie so many things other than fighting phiscaly, you fight with yourself and flaws to move your mindset into your passoins.

He just made me understand a reoccurring theme in my dreams for years and years. Each dream will be different but one reoccurring theme is me trying to run or get up off the ground and walk/run/jump and it’s like I’m trying so hard but can’t get all the way up or can’t run or walk if I try. In those dreams my eyes usually won’t open all the way either. I think based on what he said that must be my brain picking up on the sleep paralysis and incorporating it into my dream. It’s not every dream but it’s the one reoccurring theme over the years that comes from time to time.

I love this. I'm reminded of when I visited the medical history museum in Indianapolis. The building was used for Indiana University med classes. They have a room that was a lecture hall where they gave lessons with a cadaver. Not like today's cadaveric lessons but more like an autopsy. They also have dissected brains in jars with labels to state which psychological disorder they had. Old medicine and medical practice, it's a very interesting place and It's located across the street from a graveyard. 🤔

Hello Dr. Huberman. You are a legend. You are of such a great service to this planet. I started religiously watching your episodes probably these last 6 weeks, have been watching not addicted, but lots of good quality ones probably over like 9 months now. I saw you in Toronto at the Brain Body Contract, and it was fantastic and so powerful and uplifting. You are just standing infront of an audience, being a teacher, doing what you love, which is to teach, and you get to impact the lives of many. I bet that just feels so damn good. Obviously lots of stress, but as someone who can do that in this earth in this era, it’s a salute and hats off to you my friend. I wrote a 5 page letter pouring out my feelings which started as a little thank you message to you, so I’m doing a revamp, making it short and sweet. I did a yoga nidra session and had the spiritual ‘high’. Was phenomenal and just so amazing to see that how we are so powerful as humans, and can control ourselves, if we control our mind. 6 weeks of Reiki, a week or two of yoga nidra here and there, completion of my Yoga Teacher Training and being employed as an instructor so I can help others heal, has been a catapult of so much damn good at once that I don’t even know how to act. I’m a recovering addict, and now I’m back in a program with a hospital as a clinical trial, and I’m at the best point I’ve ever been, just hitting 25 in the summer, meaning that I got a short duration of high quality neuroplasticity to cook up in my brain to change my habitual patterns, behaviours, and stupid code I’ve engrained in my brain that I think is the correct, right, and best way to do things. Slowly, but surely, just barely fixing sun exposure, sleep, diet, exercise, using my hobbies and passions to bring better energecy in my circle, learning to navigate and cope with moving back into toxic household etc etc etc and the list goes on. In school to become a therapist, specifically an addictions and marriage counsellor because broken families are what cause children to become broken dysfunctional adults, and until we as a generation heal before having babies, we aint getting anywhere different than what it is now. Anyways, that’s my little spiel. I know you will likely read this, I hope people thumbs it and get it up there, but thank you for making a large impact on my life. You have done this to many, and I wanted to say thank you for your great honest un-biased opinions, your way of articulating a challenging and complex subject, how you stay composed and commit to such quality high-tier knowledge with many great, smart, intelligent, people on this earth. & not always only academica. This Mike Tyson podcast hit differently, and as someone who has boxed for 8 years, went through too much damage at a young age, got in the cyclic depression of pain relievers (opiods), and practically becoming addicted to stress and pain causing myself the inability to operate at my full capacity and realize the only person standing in front of me, is me, no one else. Once you realize, let go, and have that clear mind to see what the reality of the current circumstances and situation is, you will live your life in a façade and just end up back to square one every single time after years of dedication and oh so much assurance that this plan is the one. We all have it in us to fix ourselves. Go to therapy. They don’t tell you how to heal, or do it for you. A good therapist will help you unlock your own inner wisdom. They help fit the puzzle pieces that are not making any sense to you and are damaged because you just ripped off the corner cause you were mad. They help you, realize, and help yourself, by just guiding you through the process of questioning and challenging your beliefs, morals, principles, and values, to who YOU really are. The 4 videos that hit correct. Mike Tyson & Huberman - Hypnosis, dejavu, about life and how we really are nothing and life is just so magical when you let go and life, play out how it should. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oN2adtir1LLJmGQ.html Music - Super cool. Super fascinating and logical, valuable, and able to utilize immediately for positive effects. Gut Microbiota - LIVER. IS. KEY. WOW. Jaw dropping. Paul Conti series Anne Lembke - Addiction Psylocibin, Ketmina & other medical trials on curing mental health disorders through Psychopharmatherapy. Stress for healthy eating - Elissa Epel Gina Poe - Sleep Diet & Nutrition - Dr. Palmer Serotonin, dopamine ones. I think those are the first ones I kind of came across.. Sleep Sunlight Sunday walks It’s literally so easy. You just have to start, stay consistent, and make small positive change. Not too much at once, itll overwhelm you. If you reading this, I love you and you will get through whatever is trying to take you out right now. It’s always at once. That’s life trying to test you. Be strong. You got this

Thats very interesting when Dr Huberman said the first stage of sleep when you jolt yourself awake is a stage of hypnosis. I'd be curious to learn more. I mentioned to my friend that I often lucid dream and have sleep paralysis (Just last night I dreamt that a phone was ringing and I was struggling for my life to get up. Eventually shot up out of bed to find it wasnt but it felt so real). The past several years i've been having these issues of jolting awake violently when im falling asleep. I often put my mind in a state where i'm building an empire or training to become the best fighter in the world for example. It seems to calm me and makes me fall asleep. The funny thing was he mentioned it sounded like I was hypnosis myself when I mentioned the issues with sleep but never told him about my imagination and what I think about to make myself fall asleep. Can literally build a world inside my mind.
