Tell me. When a company in charge of a multifaceted productions owns the land it's on, owns every piece of the production, automates the workforce to avoid the cost of wages, and take every chance it can to skimp on it's public dues, where does the money go once it's funneled in? The way capitalism is supposed to work is cyclical; you do work and get paid a certain ammount. You then spend that money to a business, who then pays those who work for them and the other companies who, through their service, aid in the logistics of delivering a service or product. Then those companies pay the workers who work for them, and the companies they work with, and so on. These workers then spend that money on goods and services, and the cycle continues. If the money goes in, but does not flow back out to the communities they reap from.... how can the cycle be expected to continue? It doesn't matter if you're a communist, capitalist, anarchist, or what - there is no single mindset aware of the larger structures going on that sees this kind of automation as a boon, or the way forward.

the important point is "machines/bots don't pay taxes" i wanna see what happens when 50% of the people stop paying taxes bc they lose they're jobs.

Language models (AI) could be used to do so much innovative stuff, but no, they decided to use it to cut corners at the expenses of everyone
@udippatel6147Ай бұрын
heuhue this kind of reads to me like, "why did AI have to take MY job? why couldn't it just stick to taking OTHER peoples' jobs". Innovation leaves all behind in the dust, it is on the individual to keep up with the times.

You know in the movies, when you see someone at a one of these hearings, warning people, and then the movie continues with no one listening... That's the path we're on.

I can hear and feel all the rage in these words and I fully understand it. Good job. I hope more and more people take this side! I personally won't ever buy nor consume a movie (or other media) that involved AI in the process of its production.

Nobody knows you made it with AI. They will copyright anything

Yep, and then make such a law at the state level and the desire of business (as well as the entire capitalist system) to have a profit will suffer, which is unacceptable. The biggest waste is paying people's salaries. Ethics vs money, who wins? 🤔 It's inevitable, we're doomed. While Russia and China are entering the AI race with wild enthusiasm, especially seeing this mess :)

At the very least, AI models should legally be public domain unless ALL the training material used is privately owned by the companies that built them.

The one who have produced fodder for horses in old days also had lost his work, probably he had to change his activity to support his famility, to open another business, or got another job. And that all was about cars taht are getting over horses. Now is the same situation, just concept artist should make so much money to pay a house in LA? Like for tens of millions dollars? There is a lot of young ppl who are ready to do the job for a fraction of this man high salary, even without ai. I am hightly against ai, but such kind of persons should not moan and complain, but adapt and change themselfes in this chaging world.
